Is This The Perfect Peterbilt? Conrad Shada Truck Tour & Full Interview
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Filmed just hours after he walked away with four awards at the PKY truck show at MATS '23, this interview with owner and builder Conrad Shada was an absolute thrill for me.
I had been able to write the cover feature article on Conrad's Peterbilt for LargeCar Magazine recently but I'd only seen his build through photos. Being next to this incredible machine and given a personal tour of it's secret fine details is an absolute treat! You won't find a better build or a nicer guy than this.
In addition to Conrad's 2020 Peterbilt 389 (yes, its a 389. NOT a 379) and his long list of perfectly detailed components; we were also graced with the presence of Mrs. Sheri Shada. She is described by Conrad as "The wing beneath my wings" and was instrumental in helping Conrad achieve this lifelong dream.
Conrad and Sheri are a fantastic couple and after a 3 1/2 year struggle to complete this truck, all their hard work is finally paying off and being recognized publicly. Thousands of hours of meticulous planning and effort have been sculpted into this masterpiece, almost entirely by Conrad himself. He isn't the type of guy to pay someone else to build something for him and then take the credit for it; quite the opposite actually. He humbly thanks a list of people that have helped make his dream of building "The Perfect Peterbilt" that he constructed with his own hands, in his own shop, being advised and assisted by many kind folks.
It's my personal goal to shine a positive light on the amazing stories and people that make the trucking industry what it is: the traditions, the passions, the machines, and the families.
It was my honor and pleasure to spend time with the Shada family and get a personal tour of the purple bobtail that stole the show at Mid America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky 2023. Thank you for joining me and supporting the channel as we quickly grow!

I've always admired his paint scheme and choice for stripes, etc on his Cabover and other trucks...this truck is just Fantastic!
I love it! Excellent blend of old and new. Reskinned the doors to use 379 latches, toggles, 379 dash. Just an excellent, well thought out and executed build
Beautiful truck
Awesome video 👍👍👍
Mr.Shada sir you are the Picasso of the long hood . This truck is a work of art . Unbelievable attention to detail . The back story is as great as the truck it's self . Congratulations you not only have a hands down custom built show winner but a show stopper .... 🏆🏆🏆🏆

Helluva job Sir! Will you be at Iowa 80 or C&J this year? Definitely looking forward to seeing it 💪
Seen a 359 years ago with a similar paint job. Actually like the same colors like BOAR'S Meat's. He towed a pneumatic tank that matched. Had a 300" WB and Canadian spread on the drivers.
Congratulations...who is doing the interview
That is one sexey truck ! Growing up I always wanted to be a owner operator and drive a 379 .never became a owner operator but some day I would love to have a 359 or 79 show truck .
A masterpiece leonardo da vinci would be proud of this truck.
that would be a good truck for a swift driver
I wonder if it's still a 389 hood length?

Hello Hey 👋 hi and Howdy Phillip 👋 Cleveland Tenn waivin a Hand 👋
💯💯💯💯💯🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
No! The best truck made is the one earning the money working, not polished setting the floor!
That’s not no 389 that’s a 379 not a 2020 either 379’s was last produced in what 2007 2008 the 389 was released so the truck is no younger than what 16 years old no not 3yrs old SMH

Hahahaha stick to video games bud - how dense do you have to be? You just replied to the owner and builder in this video 😂
Just a typical looking truck. Same old shit
Stop painting words on your door. Looks way better to leave the doors pure and untainted; just paint.
