What are your thoughts about the OBSBOT Meet 4k?

Personally I thought the colors looked kinda washed out and less accurate on the 4k mode but I dunno if that's just the camera or if your color settings changed when the resolution did also despite it saying it was 30 fps to my eye it looked more like a jerky 25ish though that may be the effect where your eyes start seeing the framerate as much worse than it is after seeing it compared to a much higher one that being said the 4k mode definitely doesn't seem that usable but the 1080p mode looked stellar and the ISO difference between the two cameras was insane so especially for the price I'd definitely say it looks to be a pretty great deal for a really good 1080p webcam the 4k advertising does feel a little misleading though and I think they should lean in on the 1080p killer for a super low price angle.

needs to be tested in low light at 60fps, i fear it would be a similar experience to the streamcam, as they were compared in the dark at difference capture rates

Very complete review as usual. Levels above any of the reviews I watched before this one. Covered video performance, connectivity, microphone, pricing, even operating temperature, and made it relevant by having a direct comparison to the most popular webcam manufacturer today! On top of that, gives you what you came for, a genuine, informed opinion! Most reviewers will dance around the subject, but like I said before, Sujano is the Anti-Fluff zone! 👏

My whole life i've been into old technology (and new too, of course) and I love showing old and new picture tech to my dad and I can't wait to show him how far we've gone into creating amazing picture tech! Cameras this TINY with this amount of technology in them is just fascinating and will never NOT be to me!

Good review I’ve already got one 😅 doing what my friends call confirming my choices by watching a review even after I’ve bought the thing. It mentioned that it has the ability to do vertical video as well which might be cool. Haven’t tried that yet though just got mine a few days ago.

I think all in all it’s a pretty sweet lil camera! Lil bit rich for my blood but I still don’t have enough 4K accessories to justify it anyways!! I’d be more than happy with the $99 1080p tho for sure!! Lot of features for a little camera!! Pretty kewl in my book!! 👍🏼 two thumbs here 👍🏼 😎

I genuinely thought the "default settings" was a professionally set-up DSLR/mirrorless. Holyshit. Also, in my humble content creator and past even photographer opinion, while the Logitech WB might have been truer to what you were seeing in the room, I thought your skintone looked more natural and the overall footage looked more professional IMHO with the Osbot. This is not only impressive, this is insane.

Keep the OBSBOT it'll let you play with lighting more and the higher resolution if you wanna change and show stuff off.

you should make a video comparison between osbot 4k and the new insta360 link 4k webcam

how do you set the camera to 4k mode? In the obsbot app itself, when set to 4k, the picture will be like super zoomed in suddenly. Why yours look like its still giving that wide angle view? Weird.

interesting. the "microphone" is in focus and you are slightly "OOF". do you have to set focus manually or is it automatic? otherwise the IQ is very good for the cheap price!

are you using obs and the obsbot on linux or windows? if windows do you know if it supports linux?

Your level of editing, sound and quality overall is getting better and better day by day! Love your content! You should consider making guides for emulation for each console. Cheers!!!

I run my cams usually at 4K as I am not moving that fast so 30FPS is sufficient. Just ordered the OBSBOT. Will send the Elgato Streamcam MK2 back right after it arrives :D

I'm interested in buying this for a client. Does this camera compatible with pairing a wireless mic, for example pairing the Rode Wireless Go II?

if i was you id keep using the obsbot. plus it has the chops for you to experiment with more different kinds of lighting

02:55 Hey Mr. Sujano, I would actually prefer this as you're go to background since I tend to watch you at nighttime, and it makes it easy for my eyes to focus on the narrator and not the distracting background. having plain background, while not fun, makes it easy to eye on the speaker and the content on the side of Mr. Sujano, not really a background unfortunately. This is just me from a person who loves black curtains hung up on walls or in rooms with poles stretched across both sides of the rooms, giving you a nice 180 or clean background look. I personally recommend people to get black curtains as they work like green screens although black and easy to hide the nasty highlight details you see on people's hair when green or blue screening. It also can be used for October and December during the dark night holiday seasons.

@@SuperFlashDriver: I believe the fully-lit scene is more appropriate. The tones are softer, warmer, with better gradation. It also looks happier/more positive. I dislike watching dark content in darkness, if it makes sense. It exposes various flaws in the display technology (LCD and OLED alike). With regular content, I just turn on night/reading mode and decrease the brightness and it should be good enough.

I'd take the Meet over the Brio. The Brio is a few years older, and seems to struggle a bit in non-optimal lighting.

Logitech sent me the StreamCam and thank god I didn’t pay for it lol for $169 it’s terrible at video quality no matter what lighting or settings I use. It’s always grainy 720p with no HD. Definitely getting the Obspot.

Is the meet recognized in windows 11? I tried the Obsbot tiny 4k but it did not work on my pc even after I checked the privacy settings, turned off the virus scanner, firewall and webshield. The tiny 4k was known as device as a camera device, but nothing was working. I decided to send this Obsbot product back to the seller. I'm afraid the Obsbot Meet will not work on my pc.

Is it normal for the webcam to get hot?

Why are we comparing this to a logitech camera and not the far superior elgato facecam? Also the difference on load the each camera put on the computer since this matters when streaming.

I prefer resolution. 30Fps is actually preferable for me. I do video production and 24p is normal when shooting video.

Streamcam is literally perfect. The obsbot just looks like a laptop webcam and a trash one at that. The mic also sounds pretty horrendous.
