I absolutely love your efforts towards realism! So far, your Speed and Angels campaign is by far my favorite one! A quick suggestion though: as a pilot in real life, I LOVE the procedures and realism. I understand them and jumping into a realistic campaign is not scary to me at all. My little brother, however, is scared to get any of your campaigns because he doesn't think he knows enough about the realistic aircraft procedures to do well. Frankly, I don't think he is alone. So, do you think it will be helpful to post a list of recommended skills along with your campaigns? For example, my little brother is scared to get your P-51 campaigns because he thinks he needs to be an expert at every weapon deployment, nighttime navigation in an old aircraft, etc. If there was a list of skills recommended to finish the campaign, it might help people who aren't as familiar with real procedures gauge where they are at. A lot of people might even find they already have the skills necessary and may be more willing to give your campaigns a shot!

I tried doing the Pearl Harbor attack on Dec 7 at the exact time in the morning as realistic as possible using the Marianas map as Hawaii. I put the Zero skin on a P-47 and used the battleships from Current Hill. It was fun. With the Normandy map, the collection of warbirds in DCS and the WWII asset pack, you can really get accurate D-Day missions. Love to try yours!

I love the idea of doing the missions real time. Maybe it could be done as a charity event, raise some cash for veterans groups?

I hope we can trickle in more assets and oppositional aircraft too to spice up things down the road. Your campaigns definitely spice up the WWII content. It's important to remember too, what a game changer the Mustang was as a weapon, a delicious blend of American ans British tech.

Agreed, more assets and AI aircraft would make a huge difference in DCS WWII. Although for this campaign, I have every aircraft type I needed :) Except of course the P-51B/C

Nice work. Just finishing up Blue Nose Bastards of Bodney and thoroughly enjoying it. Cannot wait for this new P51 campaign.

I'm not a WW2 flyer but I will definiately give it a go. Do you need Normandy 2.0 map for this? Sales is going on so would be a great opportunity.

It works on both versions of Normandy but of course it will look much better if you have the 2.0. The campaign uses Kenley as a stand in for Debden

Any chance in the future to make The Yoxford Boys campaign? So it will be somekind of remake old dos Heroes of the 357th :)

Hello, I already have your other ww2 Campaigns for allied forces, and for sure will be adding this. It seems quite interesting, I thought it was already on the shelves but apparently the ball is in ED side.

Extremely excited! Halfway through V for Victory and I restarted Blue Nose Bastards after Normandy 2.0 came out. Just need a minute to fly again. On release day I’ll be purchasing this as well. Thank you for the excellent campaigns!

What a FABULOUS idea--I truly love the "real time" idea to commemorate the anniversary. It would be amazing to try to have as many DCS pilots as possible all over the world doing this at the same time. I'm in! (now need to go pick up the P-51D while it's still on sale and learn to fly it--but maybe after I finish "Beware Beware" since I just started the Spit...).

Or, some way to have all the friendly aircraft in the mission manned in multiplayer. Man, wouldn't that be something!

@@elbutchio that would be nice, but how would all the friendlies know where to fly, and what targets they spotted and attacked in real life, who got shot down, etc... that's the problem. The more humans you add, the less things will play out like in real life.

This is fantastic! When is it coming out? Can't wait! Won't be able to do what you propose for the 6th of June because for the first time Zi'l join s reenactment group! They did the US 4rth rangers and i'd do the french FFI, french resistant fighters who were locals and guided the troops! I received my sten mk 2 and German grenade replica yesterday!😊

I love the idea of flying all missions, eventful or not, and at accurate times. A great way to re-create significant parts of D-Day. One question - will it only be P-51s or will you also include P-47s as a players choice?

The 4th FG flew P-51s in 1944. If I added P-47s they would be a different FG, so different base, missions, briefings and voice overs. So a whole different campaign.

id LOVE to fly these missions live, but i doubt my employer will

I am a bit anxious to try vr for the first time with a good resolution and to pair the experience with your new campaign would be awesome. Looking forward to flying it. All the best.

It really doesn’t, especially now that the ffw eill automatically reset if anything happens. But if you play real time there will be original radio broadcasts and music to keep you entertained. And formation flying of course.
