Thierry Mugler died but Loreal killed Mugler parfums and that makes me very sad

i wouldnt have a problem with them releasing basic perfumes to ump up the sales IF THEY DIDNT DISCONTINUE WHOLE LINES OF AMAZING PERFUMES(aura,angel muse).why did they even buy mugler perfumes in the first place if they didnt like the philosophy of the brand?i dont understand...

Omg that's literally what I thought too. The intense should have been the original Alien Goddess.

I’ve been sorting my fragrance collection out and came across some of my older Thierry Mugler fragrances. I have a bottle of Angel from 1996, it’s pure heaven, polarising yes! I compared it to a sample of Angel I received with my Alien Goddess Intense order. My 1996 bottle is what TM is known for, BEAST mode, QUALITY ingredients, UNIQUE! The sample? It smells like something completely different. I must admit, I do enjoy Alien Goddess, I’m enjoying the new Alien Goddess Intense but, what hurts me the most? Thierry Mugler’s golden days are now over, L’Oréal has ruined Thierry’s creations. May Thierry Mugler rest in peace, in Spirit and Fragrance.

I bought Alien Goddess not long ago. I smelled the intense version today. I wish I owned the intense version instead of the original. It's much better!

I have loved Mugler since Angel was released. By the way, it has changed since it’s release in the mid 90’s. I love almost all of the Alien/Angel releases. They have made a few flub dubs over the past few years and I hope they go back to making a fabulous fragrance again.

I just got the travel size of AGI and it arrived today. I wear Alien and it’s my signature however I’ve been underwhelmed with the new releases in the Alien line. The og Godess smells like Lemon verbena from bath and body works. Great video. I subscribed in the newsletter 💕

Everything ended with Aura.. you can understand the direction of the marketing just looking at the names of the new releases. Their team just looks at the numbers of sales in the end however, the intense version was released because the release of Goddess came as a shock in the fragrance community. Mugler became what it is now under the sublime artistic direction of Monsieur Mugler combined with perfumes that were truly extraordinary..it feels like the end of an era truly :(

Alien Goddess is very nice and I heard many positive reviews of the Intense version. I also love Nathalie Lorsons creations.

I agree totally. I have been wearing Alien since it came out years ago. Unfortunately I hardly reach for my most recent bottle. I also picked up Goddess Intense and it’s ok. I think it’s pretty and I wear it, but it doesn’t do it for me like Mugler used to. Mugler is definitely a shadow of its former self. Sad.

I've blind purchased Goddess Intense, not as strong as expected but very nice. Great review 😍

Big fan, love your channel! I remember once you said the best way to improve your nose for smelling perfumes is to eat food- learn about ingredients, etc. This made me think of a video idea- could you do a video about scents that are good to wear when eating? I find certain fragrances that I love are off-putting when I have a meal, while others compliment food perfectly. Ie Ellis B’s Bee is so yummy to wear on a dinner date. Thanks!

It is so weird how it depends on the skin chemistry. I heard that on some Alenf Goddess doesn't last but on me it lasts for 10hrs at least and I would say it last better than reformulated Alien og, not sure about intense version because I do not own it 😊

I have been disappointed with Mugler since L'oreal took them over. I just don't feel the perfumes are the same and the new releases are nothing near the beautiful beasts Theirry's perfumes were. Just sad... I loved his creations.

Agree, not a single great one since then. Goddess intense is pleasant but any other designer could have proposed it. We can only buy the leftover stocks 🤷🏻‍♀️

I completely agree with your review Paulina... I bought a travel size of the Alien Goddess last year and returned, it was so mediocre to me compared to what I was I was expecting from Mugler & Alien... just couldn't justify keeping it because I have much better summer fragrances. I was of course very intrigued too try the new Intense version... I bought another travel size to try... I also love the refillable icicle travel sprays... I am very pleasantly surprised that I like this one... much much better than last year's version, still not original Alien quality, but nice enough to keep and I'm considering getting a 90 ml.

I agree with you Paulina, it’s just shame creativity has gone out of the window. Just plain, simple, not surprising. 💜🌸

Goddess intense is basically Bronze Goddess EDP rebottled and I love it. They smell almost identical

All the perfumes launch an original, then an intense, then now, a “Le Parfum” so they can get you to by all of them.

I do agree with you. Love or hate it the original Angel was ground breaking. At the time it was the most talked about scent for its longevity and unique blend. I remember hating it as everyone wore it and I got a headache but you could not deny it was like no other. Fast forward to today sadly it is a shadow of its former self. Now my taste has changed I love it but it’s now too weak. It doesn’t last on the skin only on clothing. It was toned down years ago and it was the correct thing to do but they have continued to water it down just like the original Alien which means they are both not ad good. Such a shame. As for all the flankers…….. let’s not go there!

Intense is the best one so far

I had the Alien goddess disappeared after 1 hour I returned it and bought Goddess intense love the scent but still doesn't last maybe a little longer but on my clothes very disappointed on both

I've been using Angel for 20 years. I tried using Alien Goddess and it was not long lasting on me, and I didn't feel it. It didn't feel like good quality 😕 . Mugler always stands out and not this one, at least not for me. I had to return it

I have both versions, could not passed them by as was looking for good summery tan lotion vibe fragrance without too much flowers in dry down. Cannot agree with you more than it's not the Alien Mugler DNA, which I cannot stand unfortunately, but as a popular summer time warm or holiday return back perfumes it could work out definitely good, with a high quality. I think that was the goal of Mugler marketing team, not the back days extravaganza(

Do you mean indolic like with indoles, or Indian Jasmine sambac? I didn’t smell anything indolic in AGI. If it was there, it wasn’t funky like people can sometimes experience with indolic jasmine. It’s easy to like, but my problem is the boring factor.

If you are someone who never wore original alien your opinion is invalid, remember it's a flanker💜

You lucky you getting 7h I'm getting max 3 nothing special for me. I'm only buying the purple ALIEN for sentiment 💜 For me Mugler finished

I feel like it's a way to not pay for new bottle concepts or new bottles at all. Just shove a new color on it.

Alien Goddess smells like a bad watered down version of The Only One Intense. Goddess Intense is better but still not something I'd want to wear. Ick 😷

I think people are hung up on the name alien its alien godess not alien

There’s honestly not a Mugler perfume that I love. I kinda like goddess but that’s about it.

Thank you, I was so on the fence about purchasing the Intense… but like waiting until I get a trusted opinion. I think I’m going to pass on it.

i love the intense so much more i thought the original was okay but i need the depth of the intense it's so much more pretty compared to the original is so boring and basic

But the intense flanker smells like the OG Alien, and if i want something to that extend, i would buy Paradoxe by Prada, same scent profile but way better blended, just better quality smelling, just bc its Alien in the name, should it smell like Alien, i mean, than buy Alien (just dont get this ridiculous and endless complaining, about a stunning fragrance and since years, a designer i really enjoy🤷‍♀️)its just in your face and way to similar to Alien, the OG Alien Goddess was finally something different for Mugler, this fresh opening with bergamot and coconut water, lasts long and i get sooo many compliments, with the intense i still, after months now, i got none, that also says a lot for me, but keep complaining ladies ahd gents....👏👏👏

In your opinion, which of them is more worthy: Alien Goddess Intense or The Only One Intense? I have never tried the first, but I see that the second (which I already own) becomes harder and harder to find in my country (Romania) and I necessarily need a backup bottle before it gets discountinued. I do not have budget for both at the moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

For me I will not get alien original I have replaced it with dolce gabbana the only one intense just as you were saying … but I will try the 60 ml alien intense 🙏🏼🤍
