The reason I like this hike so much is that it's a hike anyone can do but you still get the same views as if you go somewhere very remote. Zermatt was built up because of the perfect nature around it and they've made it very convenient for anyone to experience it! As stated in the video I've done MUCH more than what is in this video so if you want tips or insight please write a separate comment and I'll try to help you :)

All I can say is great work from start to finish. 👍

I'm very happy that you appreciated the video, what you captured here is exactly what I try to do but I'm still playing around to figure out what works and what doesn't (It's hard to get views and subscribers 😕). But it is hard to know what works when people watch but don't say what they think so I really appreciate that you took the time! If you're from here, do you have any good recommendations for where I can go? I sometimes struggle to find new and fun places (that's why I made this channel)

@@WalkandTalkchannel Where to go in switzerland... that's where the problem starts, as you probably know, there isn't just one spot in switzerland.... the night is usually just around the corner. But I would make you a few suggestions, mainly with a background of hiking, since this is definitely your thing (and you rarely get it right like here in Switzerland). Lauterbrunnen (very well-known) would be a banal possibility, here too you can hike with a bit of perspective that you rarely see otherwise. Oebahnensee (not far from Lauterbrunnen) offers its own world in the "basin around the Oebahnensee, mountain, lake, small waterfalls, you should at least consider that. The Verzasca Valley in the south of our country could also be interesting in a different way, here it is less the mountains (which of course there are at the end of the valley) than nature as such and in particular the Verzasca (river), which is deep in places Bed carved into rock offering stunning images of stone, clear water and colour. The last suggestion for now would be the Bünderland (Grisons, especially the area around Sedrun), which also has very beautiful areas, especially away from the villages I have already seen pictures that you don't see every day, like mountains in which pine trees are reflected, with luck you will also meet ibexes or chamois there . Research these places, I hope there is something suitable for you.

@@xxx_phantom_xxxw_t_a9479 Yeah, that is indeed the issue, that's why it's so hard to find the hidden gems 😂 when you say Oebahnensee do you mean Oeschinensee? because I cannot find Oebahnensee? Funnily enough I'm going to Lauterbrunnen and that area tomorrow, unfortunatelly it's raining ... These looks like great suggestions, I'll try to make some videos from those areas as well, let's see, I will make different types and see what catches peoples attention (commentary, just view with music, etc.) Thanks alot for the tips! I want to do the 5see wanderung at Pizol too have you been? (I think that's in the Bünderland region?)

@@WalkandTalkchannel Yes, I meant Oeschinensee (Google Translate probably had a hand in that *lol*). I can't really tell you much about the nature of the videos, how you reach more people, but I think the way of showing sides/perspectives etc. that one otherwise sees less or not at all can't be wrong. I've been to Grison countless times, but mostly for skiing, but as far as I know, you'll also be able to capture fantastic impressions and pictures on the hike. I'm just seeing the weather for Lauterbrunnen, it only looks good to a limited extent, but if you dare, who knows, this valley can also convey special impressions in bad weather, maybe you'll succeed in taking spectacular (dark) pictures, which also fits this one Valley.

I’ve seen all your video, I’m bit afraid of hight so I should avoid areas particularly exposed.. I’d like to walk 3/5 hours per day, use lifts and railway. I’ve chosen those hike: 1. from Blauherd up hill to Rothorn (via Stellisee lake) 2. from Riffelberg up hill to Gornergrat (via Riffelsee lake) 3. Matterhorn Glacier Trial, Trockener Steg to Schwarzee What do you think? Do you know of any areas particularly exposed in those paths? Thank for any help CIAO 🙏 Andrea

OR Option 2) Skip the Blauherd / Sunnegga and do the Gornergrat-Riffelsee in one day and the Klein Matterhorn in the second day. Any insights?

Hi Michael, the best way is to take the train up to Rotenboden, from there it's a short walk but it's fairly steep on the way back. The train is serviced by Gornergratbahn -www.gornergrat.ch/en/pages/timetable-gornergrat-bahn It's really nice there so enjoy! Here is also a visualisation of how you travel www.google.com/maps/dir/Zermatt+GGB/Rotenboden,+3920+Zermatt/@45.9908039,7.7649533,15z/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x478f3675ec31f76d:0xf1bd442f2a85edbf!2m2!1d7.748679!2d46.023949!1m5!1m1!1s0x478f35800854a57f:0x5262c462de8cd81e!2m2!1d7.76537!2d45.984463!3e3

Hello from CH. if you are heavy there is a fair proportion of that hike which you need poles for- downhill and big pressure on the knees. Small people don’t realise this when they think downhill is easy.

Great video man! I have a weird question, what's your favorite underwear to wear during a hike? My brother always had a problem with this rash you see...

I have a question. Matterhorn has an altitude of 4478 m while Jungfraujoch has an altitude of 4158m. Then how is jungfraujoch the highest point of Europe ? Is it not Matterhorn then ? Can you clarify

hahahhahaha, sorry for laughing but you are absolutly correct! It's a PR stunt that people fall for 😝They call it "the top of Europe" because it's the highest part you can get to by public transport 😂... I've been there together with being around the highest peaks of Switzerland, let me put it this way, I wouldn't go there if I could pick😅 but it you can't manage high altitude it's a good place to go given you can take the train 😉 Just fyi, the highest peak in Switzerland is Dufourspitze which you see in this video in the beginning, it's behind the glacier you have in the video, 4634m

Why don't people put time of year they visit these places. So annoying 🙄Also, show the darn trail, that's what we need to see, not your face 😂thank you!

Sorry mate, I've been bad in sharing when I go places so it's great you tell me! I think in my latest video I remembered but I will make a point of making sure it's there going forward 😄 if you want a video of this without my ugly face I actually uploaded this --> kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZqOXltmRo7K2Yps.html so people could just have a look at the views, it just seems to be less popular for some reason

Hi Vida, in this video it's all about sharing information along the way, not necessarily about myself but the trail, area and hiking in general. It seems my other video which has about 30x less views is a better pick for you kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZqOXltmRo7K2Yps.html
