DLo is the JR Smith of this team with better playmaking. He can be inconsistent, take bad shots, force bad passes, or dribble into bad turnovers, but he also provides elite floor spacing, creates shots out of dead plays, and can get hot in a hurry. I’ve seen him single handedly shoot the Lakers back into games, then use the threat of his shot to make plays for his teammates. He still makes head scratching decisions at times, but he’s enough of a pro to know when he should take a heat check, and when he should defer to his stars.

He’s more kyrie in shorter spurts, they allow him to take the shots he needs to stay part of the game which helps his defense and then gives him confidence to just be a off ball catch in shoot when need be. The play in game showed he is not as much a defensive liability as much as they push as well.

I think utilizing DLO’s pick-n-pop game is key!! I want to see more Spencer Dinwiddie running the offense with DLO!!! It would then maximize both players best assists as Dinwiddie is the superior playmaker, ball handler, defender & driver over Austin Reaves; pair that with DLO’s 3 point shooting and his playmaking is 🔥!! We then have AR is his best position as a scoring punch off the bench going against lesser defenders causing major problems

People keep saying he doesn't dip and they are wrong. Watch him and stop just repeating what others say. He dips as he hops and catches the ball to save time which is becoming more common. His strength is that he can shoot the ball without bringing the ball to a specific shooting pocket while in combination with this. That's cutting the fat on his jumper and make it energy/time efficient.

I really wish D'Lo would utilize his body in the lane like Brunson. His worse shorts are those short fades like you said that are heavily contesred. The opp's big never wants to leave AD, D'Lo should have a lot more finishes at the rim.

6'6 beast (in shoes) for some reason he is listed 6'3, Google his name with Austin Reaves they are the same height (Reaves measured 6'6 in shoes) But I think his style is terrible for the playoffs. When you are not athletic you can’t create tough shots the playoffs style sometimes require and those who depend on their shot to fall too much a lot of times can’t take the pressure. Don’t be surprised if he repeats last year’s struggles. I wish him luck, I’m glad he had a good year

If he has similar numbers like last years WCF vs Denver then Lakers out in 4 or 5 games. If he plays even near or above his regular season average then Maybe it is a 6 or 7 game series with Denver winning. Unless he plays out of his mind then Lakers gonna need Reeves to average 20 for the series and Hachimura gonna need to average 15 to 20 cuz Lebron and AD gonna be too much to expect them to get 30 each.

Of course he has game. The question is whether D-Lo can be relied upon in the playoffs. The answer throughout his career so far has been a resounding no. His numbers drop sharply in the postseason. Will this year be different? Wait and see but I wouldn’t bet on it. If he doesn’t completely fold like last year against the Nuggets it might be competitive. Nuggets in 6.
