I live in Barcelona and bought it yesterday. And yes this really is Barcelona down to the detail (!), except they replaced stores, clubs etc. with generic fronts and some roads and buildings have a bit of a different layout. But I have been driving around and with my knowledge of the city, I haven’t yet seen something remarkably incorrect. Quite impressive and surreal. However I find that the game could use some polish on other levels. On PS5 it lags quite a lot, and pedestrians and cars act weird sometimes. I probably wouldn’t enjoy it that much if it didn’t take place in my city though.

Yeah I live in Barcelona too and it looks a fantastic recreation of the city but with lighter traffic thankfully as driving round this city in real life, isn’t fun haha

This game costs 39,99€ on console and doesn’t have wheel support. Just a heads-up for console players. Don’t get tricked. Lack of transparency of the devs made me buy it and now the game is useless

I think they were working on it from the beginning. They either gave up or couldn't include it in time of the release date. My guess is if there are enough sales maybe they will invest more time on fixing it for the consoles. Or they will simply abandon the game. Looking at the lack of communication I guess there won't be any wheel support. If not they should've at least told us that they are working on it @@arazabishov7407

It looks very much like that terrible city driver game and very much like it was built in unreal engine 5, I like the idea tho cause there aren’t many taxi games out there, also very few games set in Barcelona

BeamNg really spoiled us with the open world activities. The taxiing is round about the same as the delivery missions of Beam - except you can't drive like a bellend (which is half the fun). The map does look gorgeous, if they fix the performance and added another mode like food delivery where you can speed that'd honostly be worth $30

Review The Bus. It looks interesting.

Simulator games really gotta start taking the farming simulator route and add major modding support.

They should have a feature where if ur car has luggage u should be Able to close and open the back door

Hi guys! I use the game with a logitech drving force GT and it works completely fine, but in the game the wheel only turns by 90 degrees in both ways. The car itself turns correctly but visually the wheel only turns 90. Can you help me? Its annoying.

Hello. I have bought the game. I have a g29 and i have a problem and maybe someone here could help me. At low speed the steering wheel is moving amazing but at high speed my weal just get very stiff and I can barely move it, and it force my wheal to make 180 rotation and make some strange moves. The settings from the Ghub are on 0 and in game I just leave it as it is since I didnt noticed some change to be honest. Thank you guys!

The issue is the Unreal engine as usual; or to be fair, the fact that all those devs are totally inexperienced with it. Same exact performance issues in every game since UE4 should tell us something: pretty reflections and light are coming at a cost, which experienced devs solve, while the majority of small indie teams can only patch to the best they can. Will there be a dev team one day that will actually learn how to use unreal engine properly, and make a decent city driving game? So far all the car and bus games (or tram) end up being having the same exact issues, as if they are just buying the same assets from the Unreal store.

It would be nice if it’s a manual transmission

There are no driving simulators set in the UK. However, "Virtual Driving School" coming soon on Steam is set in Wales but has been delayed several times since 2020. There's also "City Car Driving" where you can set the game to Australian traffic rules and drive on the left. That's as close as you can get to UK driving right now unfortunately.

It works beautifully. The mirror views are not following your head movement (understandably) but other than that it is great, enjoying it a lot.

€550 for a taxi fare across town, thats nuts. I used to be a Taxi driver my best job £180 !

It doesn't matter if its gear, belt driven or direct drive. Even city car driver supports every USB wheel, handbrake and shorter. Devs are just lazy

It's quite disappointing!

Honestly, this game has potential because the idea for a taxi simulator is very original. I just have the impression that developers are not taking advantage of this potential. Something that would probably liven up this game the most would be mods.

Looks good but $40 is just too much 😢

Is it worth it for £35 on PlayStation 5? I’m assuming if there are a few glitches this will be sorted in a future update? I love Barcelona so I hope the glitches aren’t a huge problem

I don't think it's worth that much yet. The developers claim to be improving it and fixing the bugs, so wait for that but also a heavy discount!

Good review. It is indeed disappointing there is no wheel support for PS5. I almost bought but will wait for an update - hoping they will add wheel support for consoles.

They've announced the Xbox versions are getting wheel support, but overall this game needs a heck of a lot of work to be worth playing.

You do not, you can play with keyboard or Xbox controller. However, like many driving games, this makes it more difficult

The reviews for the game at the moment are awful on Steam. The AI doesn't look great, and the stutters are not worth it either. Maybe if it improves I will get it.

It’s a great game, but the only downside is the AI, it’s terrible!

As a driver myself, I can confirm the AI is indeed terrible, but completely realistic! It's in fact a 1 to 1 recreation of exactly how the majority of people drive 😂
