One of the biggest selling points for the Uniarch product line is the super intuitive and powerful mobile application. With the Uniarch app, you can view and manage your cameras from anywhere in the world in ways that you haven't been able to before.
One of the biggest gaps between consumer-grade and professional-grade security technology is the mobile experience, or lack thereof. Products designed with the end-user in mind are almost fully mobile-oriented. You almost never have to touch a computer or mess with an IP address. Products designed with the professional in mind usually do have mobile apps, but these typically feel like after thoughts more than anything else.
Standard professional-grade Uniview cameras are no different. Their EZView application is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. But as the name implies, this app is only a viewer. You can't really manage your cameras from your app. You can simply view the live feeds and recordings.
When Uniview began to develop Uniarch, their consumer-oriented product line, they packed a lot more into the mobile app. It's still not a 100% mobile experience; you do need to set up the cameras using either the NVR or the web interface. But once everything is set up, you can use the Uniarch app to fully manage your cameras. Adjust the image, edit the motion detection field, and even upgrade your cameras' firmware directly from the app.

My device status shows its offline & the same in mobile app
Hows the security of this app? I know Hikvision cameras were having trouble with security holes and who knows what going to china.
Two of my cameras say no signal but the other 4 cameras work just fine. Any suggestions?

This app is designed for Uniarch cameras, but should also work with Uniview cameras.

Yes, you can view the feeds from anywhere in the world as long as you have an Internet connection.
What if it will not scan the UR code as mine will not? Thanks!

You can manually add by typing in the fully serial number to the unit.
How many phones can connect to one uniar nvr??

Technically, you can have up to 128 remote users max. It really depends on the internet speeds at the NVR location! The more people pulling the NVR feed, the more bandwidth usage.
does it work with Uniview NVR?

For Uniview labelled products, the EZView app is recommended.

Does Uniarch charge a monthly fee to use this app?
