I love your channel after recently finding you! But for mats the only one for me is Yoga Hustle. Everyone says they're green, but these ladies also test their mats to make sure they don't have any chemicals or toxic stuff in them. The grip is the best I've ever had and I've been practicing with all of them over my 20+ year yoga practice. I literally threw out my manduka, lulu, gaim, alo, liforme etc. I'm also a teached so got their teacher discount.

I ordered it and unfortunately i had to pay extra taxes for importing it in my country (the Netherlands). Also the rubber smell stayed for quite some time and never really left (I'm using the mat for 4 months now), but it's not so noticeable anymore. Overall I'm happy with my mat :) only thing that's difficult is to slide into a split because its too grippy for that!

Oh no! I’m based in NL too but didn’t have to pay the extra taxes - could you check with their customer support and see how come you had to? I’m glad you’re still happy with the mat 👍 mine has discoloured even more, weirdly, but it doesn’t affect the performance/ grip. I guess that’s what you get with a natural product over time.

Good video, I was watching a Kurma brand mat made in Germany, it has a lifetime warranty and they are not slippery like the Manduka, do you already use it, do you know anything about this mat?

You could use it for Pilates, but usually the Pilates mats are way thicker and foamier. So if that’s what you’re used to, this mat may be too thin for you. This mat isn’t thick and squishy as you need the firm support for standing balancing poses in yoga.

How heavy is this mat and how the weight compared to Manduka PRO Lite?

Hi! According to the Manduka site, the PROlite is 1.9kg whereas this one is 2.3kg so slightly heavier. When carrying, both seem almost comparable (and I was surprised to learn the PROlite is slightly lighter!)
