Is This the Best Diving in the World? | Hol Chan Marine Reserve
Belize had some of the BEST diving in the world and it doesn't take long to figure out why that is. Shortly after diving under the water, you're introduced to a wealth of wildlife including countless numbers of nurse and Caribbean reef sharks. Oh, and you might even come across a pod of dolphins while you're down there! Is it the best diving in the world? It's definitely the best diving we've ever done!

It was SUCH a crazy diving experience!! So many sharks and the DOLPHINS were absolutely a highlight. Definitely need to go back someday
I really enjoyed this video. Kenny has gone diving here in st. Vincent but my Sinuses have been acting up. But hopefully, that will clear up soon so we can go diving together. Love the way you captured it all.

We deal with chronic heartburn in general so yes 😂😂😂 but Aaron can eat the spiciest foods and sauces without too much issue.
Your GoPro footage looks really great! Could you please share your settings and/or do you color grade in post?

Thanks so much Jeremy!! This was shot on a GoPro Hero 9 that we borrowed from a friend (2 of our Hero 8's had flooded earlier in the week). So we're not entirely sure what the settlings were. However, we DO color grade in post. The quality difference from the 8 to the 9 was immense and we're picking up the new 10, so we can't wait to see how amazing that footage looks right out of the camera.
I have to ask... do know the name of the dive 1 and dive 2 spots in this video? My family is heading to Belize and those spots just look ridiculous.

These were all done from Ambergris Caye in October of 2021. It may be taco box canyon and cypress gardens. At least that’s what we were told. We’ve learned that sometimes these places names depend on who you dive with.
Those nurses are obviously expecting food….

Yep, that’s why we chose the shop we did. We didn’t want someone feeding them while we were diving.
Sorry, but these sharks are being fed. At 4:10 you see a reefer zoom in and hover over a dead bait fish (resting on the bottom).

Yeah you can tell they are expecting food. That’s why we specifically chose a dive shop that doesn’t participate in any activities like that. It’s unfortunately a common thing that happens in a lot of areas which is why we do our due diligence with our dive shops.
