one of my favorite videos you have posted in a long time!! why you ask? totally my opinion, but5 i have always looked at you as the "common guy" youtuber, no big fancy ad's taking up the video, no constant blasting about tournaments but just a simple guy talking about fishing. its like this video takes you back to the roots that caused me to watch and subscribe to your channel. i watched the entire video and clicked the like button with a smile. i know i am in the minority on my views but so be it. i am retired an disabled and dont get to fish as much as i would like an your video's always filled the gap. thank you for this video sir.

22 on board today in my little creek! Multi species were coming back to life for the year! Also caught a couple on the whopper plopper!

I don't know why more people don't have a left hand retrieve bait caster if they're right handed. It makes so much sense.

At first I thought it was a flooded golf course😂definitely one of the neatest good bank fishing spots ive ever seen

John, you should pick up a couple o'pros rod holders and clip them to your belt. I always wear two when I'm out wading. One on each hip. Makes fishing with two rods so easy. Even makes fishing with three rods possible. It'll change the way you fish on foot!

I live fairly close to you, i have a skinny water fishing spot with a giant cave on the water where the cool wind blows out. The only air conditioned bank spot i know. I kayak, id take ya to it.

We have three river systems here (Corning NY area), but it’s hard to find access to fishable areas. I think this year I’m going to switch things up and find areas to launch my Pond Prowler. I need something different instead of fishing the same lakes all the time. I guess I’m saying your videos have inspired me to try something new.

In the Kayak, you might try paralleling the bank rather than toward the bank, and also a bit deeper water.

Excuse the pun but we have not seen you "up a creek without a paddle" lately. looking forward to some more of those great "Creek Fishing Adventures'" . Blessing to you.

Been catching crappie and bass in my area of Indiana. Crappies are nice ,the bass are running small but fun to catch on ultra light. By the way how are you liking your AAA UL rod. I think that you've had yours longer than I've had mine. Thanks a bunch for the video.

Great video nice fishing what size hooks do you use on the bobby garland the ones I was using is 1/32 and ultralight setup did not like casting them was able to cast more than 20 foot using 4 pound monofilament leader to 6 pound braid just asking hoping you can give me some ideas thank you

John have you ever used the lew's mr crappie size 100 spinning reel looking at it as a second ultralight setup

I hadn't taken notice, that you had a statement out, that said that you were, I think, doing a Tournament, and also taking a week off. We all need a Vacation from what we do in this life, though. Kinda makes me curious, as to whether or not, we'll be able to take Vacations in Heaven? Maybe find a place along the River of Life, to go Kayaking and Fishing...or just fish from the River Bank, and catch some Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted, Bass? Maybe some Yellow Perch, some Bluegill and Shell crackers, some Red-Eared Sunfish...and maybe some Carp, Drum, and maybe the occasional Big Catfish? I don't guess, though, that that'll be possible, although I DO know that The Lord spoke everything into existence , by the Word of His Mouth. If he can do that, then I'd hope, that he would create some Fishin' spots up there in Heaven. Hey, think about it:All He'd have to do, is speak it into existence, just like He did, when He spoke everything else into existence! The only "Category" in Creation that wasn't SPOKEN into existence, was Man. The Lord God made Man (Adam) out of the Dust of the Earth, and, at a later day, created a lovely young lady for Adam, by causing Adam to fall into a deep sleep, taking a Rib out of Adam's side, and creating a Woman (Eve-The Mother of all living), for Adam! My message is kinda long, and that's my bad, but hey-I'm just glad you're back, and that you're alright. Hopefully, if you were Tournament Fishing, you did great. Hope you had a great time. i like flouro or mono on baitcasters more but on spinning rods i usually use braid
