Its a great saw for sure. I ended up breaking down and buying one couple months ago. There's only one gripe I have. The 45 and 90 degree lines are off by 1/32". Its a well known issue with this saw but once you know you can adjust it yourself. Huge mistake on their part but I'm sure it'll get revised in future iterations. Everything else is literally perfect on it. Great buy.

I think something like this is perfect for someone that isn’t great at cutting straight circular saw.

@@ToolswithSoAlz That would also be me. I have almost no experience cutting sheet material, so I never really used a circular saw enough to get good at it.

@@ToolswithSoAlz That is a great deal, but I can’t justify spending that much money on something I won’t use very often. I might look at one of those track saw kits that work for a regular circular saw.

@@ToolswithSoAlz I saw you mention in a short video earlier today the HD deal for this saw and the free item where you could choose the track and clamps that are regularly $159 as I recall. Have you tried the Ridgid track saw, and if so, which would you recommend for someone that isn’t in either battery platform yet? Thanks as always for your exceptional content and much appreciated advice!
