It's purely what it is racism, this year in Mauritius hasn't been the best for foreigners maybe because of their election or a mindset adjustment. We pray for the best.

Im happy that you shined some light on the quality of customer service in Mauritius. I too have found it to be a bit of an aquired taste. Ive been here for a little over a year now but I still find myself shocked at the level of little accountability, lack of consistency, and professionalism when interacting as a customer with many establishments here. Im not saying that there isn't any good hospitality, but effective customer success and retention protocols seem to be a foreign concept.

I thought I was overreacting at some point but in a week the amount of distasteful service I experienced is mind blowing. When you react, you are tagged a black angry person. Most lack accountability and professionalism. It’s just sad
