Takihuechi in my opinion is by far the most well-rounded machine when it comes to compact loaders. I own a little asphalt business here in Southwest Florida and that is the only brand that we have ever bought and used. We started with a TL8 and then upgraded to a TL 10 and then got the TL10v2 and now we have the TL12v2. You definitely won’t be upset with their product Also definitely spend the extra on the high flow machine and closed cab.

Two things, I too am looking into a skid steer and have 3 in mind: Bobcat T86, JD 333G and the Cat (?), to be used for land clearing (mulcher). Also, thanks for the tips on using ADM Beef Trait. I've been feeding steers on bulk finishing feed I buy from our Co-op, using a creep feeder, but corn would be cheaper. Whether I continue using a creep feeder or the system you have I have not yet decided.

Cody I will say, I have t finished watching your video yet but, I’ve run a lot of track loaders being in the swimming pool business. The tacheuchi loaders are by far my favorite. If you’ll throttle it down about half power until you get proficient with it then power it up. Not discounting your ability to operate. But the controls are more sensitive than anyone else out there, smoother, bigger more comfortable cab, etc! Definitely a good choice and at least here in Okc, they’re not very prevalent in our market!

We have a 10V2 and it's been a great machine. We have several implements and the most used is a rotary cutter (fantastic for cleaning up overgrown areas). We also have a clam bucket and forks which are much easier to use that the tractor forks because the controls are so fine.

Takeuchis are straight work horses. A older Takeuchi skid loader is what I cut my teeth on. You’ll get used to the sensitive controls and come to like them. I also recommend going for the high flow option opens up more opportunity for attachments. The company I work for currently has the TL6 which the smallest in the skid loader line up and it still impresses me daily!

We have the T10 and the T12 hi flow, and their second biggest mini ex, whatever model that is. All have been descent. Just keep in mind it’s not standard hydraulic oil in those. For me the visibility is okay, the biggest hang up for me on it is if you have a grapple attachment on the front end at a slight angle. (Trying to get sticks out of the ground) and you’re skimming along, you can’t see left or right of you cause the arms are right there but if you’re paying attention as you’re going it’s not a huge deal. I also recommend the high flow if you’re ever even remotely thinking about any attachment that needs it. We have the mulching head for our t12. Keep ranchin!

Still not very happy with the machine and the rubber seals have all but fallen out around the glasses. It is about 6 yrs old. Overall just not a quality product. Hopefully this review helps. I'm an operator and ran them all. Unless a great deal or partnership, go run one that has some hours on it. The overhead door and cab is a rattle trap. When working in gravel and turn the tracks fill with gravel instead of skidding they dig in. The quick tatch will seaze up it not used every day. To me the Cat is the smoothest to operate, and resale is great. I like the overhead door design but the nylon bushings and track sucks, rough terrain and it with come out of track.

Stuff made in Japan is INCREDIBLE…been p,aging guitar for a couple decades now and the BEST guitars I own are made in Japan, the Japanese put a ton of effort and care into what they make, no cheap bs…my 03 Tacoma is bulletproof, I have new vehicles that I hardly drive because I’d rather drive the Tacoma

Y’all are first generation ranchers. How did y’all afford to buy a ranch in central Texas? Because a working man can’t buy ranches in Texas and live on the ranch as their only source of income. Just wondering because I tried for many years but never could. You have to have another source of income to be able to have the new things you have on this ranch.
