IS THIS PARADISE?? AMAZING Fishing for BROWN Trout [New Zealand]

Фильм және анимация

I go and check out one of my favourite rivers in the world and see how things are doing after a mild winter. This place is simply stunning and offers some of the coolest fishing I know of!

Hello friend, I am Milan from Bosnia. I've been fishing for trout in Bosnian waters for 40 years, so far I've caught two fish that could be somewhat compared to what you catch, and when I look at how and where you fish, I'm just thrilled with everything. By the way, you are a real master, I see that you spend a lot of time on the water, which is necessary and extra good, and in addition to everything you manage to make a very good, great video. I really appreciate your effort, thank you for that. All the best and clear water.

For my College Graduation, I had the same type of story, I ordered a Red with white interior and a white racing stripe that went over the roof ( like Starsky & Hutch), 340 cubic inch engine, automatic. During the gas crunch of 1976 I sold it (dumbest thing I ever did), and bought a Pontiac Astra what a mistake. I regret it even more that I have seen your beautiful car. Congratulations on a great family heirloom!♥️

Great video. Got to appreciate the superb effort when you realize footage of you crossing a river means you do it TWICE; once to record it after setting the camera up and AGAIN to go and get the camera to carry on. Add to that wrestling lunker trout and long hikes, you put in a day's work--and then some! Browns in both the Rocky Mts, USA and Iceland are nowhere near as jumpy as those! More of a rainbow thing in the Rockies.

G'day your right about it being paradise, or heaven even. I wish we had rivers holding as many large trout here in Australia. We are lucky to have 3 or 4 rivers holding similar size fish. Amazing place you live. Not sure what you are best at? Catching Some of the biggest trout you'll ever see. Or the Amazing footage you seem to capture is mind blowing. Keep it up I enjoy your videos. Thanks Dave

I have to give you props man. I watched your video last year on your nymph leader set up and started making my own with your setup. I use less weight and I absolutely love it. The only thing that I have been doing differently is adding 1ft of 20lb test, and 1ft of 15lb test mono for a but section. For me it helps with the turnover. Keep up the good vids man!!

Great stuff. Apparently your banter isn’t for everyone in the comments section but I enjoy it as a nice change from the super serious competition ( aka the Jensons). Are you a brummy then? At first I thought it was a poor Afrikaans effort! I have also resorted to naming my rods. My go to for those big browns and high winds in my local South Island waters is the Hardy wraith (Koreas finest) now known as the ‘wand of darkness’. Handles the necessary 20ft leader too...

oh man... I've fished brownies, char and grayling in Sweden and arctic Norway, but these NZ streams with their amazing brownies are unbelievable btw: brownies usually have at least some red spots on the flanks, but there don't seem to be many on the fish I've seen you catch. is that a New Zealand thing?
