It's because Nature Assets like Grass and trees are already available assets in Unreal engine, While A city setup like Mumbai Needs to be modelled manually for accuracy. And a City is much more complex than a forest

If he had used assets from other source than it wouldnt have take him 6 years to where he is rn, prolly would have take 1-2 years. 2. Guy is already a talented professional artist. He has what it takes to make an asset 3. the biggest trusted source is lazy and dev himself, why would someone lie over something so petty as "making own assets"

@@Jhollmomo A petty lie like I made my own assets is told to show that you are very hard working, and as I said Trees can be copy pasted, A building has to Be created manually again and again to prevent the game from Looking under polished.

​@paninihead9894 In terms of gameplay, granny has got some upper hand, cuz for example you can pick and throw any object at your will at any place which is not available in kamla. But in terms of environment, sound design, and lore kamla is better than granny.

i am also an nepali game dveloper , i like the project of ashim brother but there is issue like unoptimized game and raw graphic and i think this game will run in high end devices only , 75% of nepalese people dont have high end device so it is challanging to get popular in nepal

I understand the concern, but I remember Ashim saying in one of the community update videos that each of those videos was tested and recorded in a "low-end" device so that he could be confident the game will work fine in lower end devices, too. By the time the project's finished, the optimization issues could build up, but here's to hoping 🤞

@@NCTrax yeah, that's a compromise we might have to make But even with big teams and optimization efforts, a game with good graphics but running in a weak machine is kind of an oxymoron If a solo venture promises me an experience shown in the community videos, I'll happily support a local experiment Even if this particular game doesn't meet out expectations, I'm excited about what the success of this one could mean for the future of game development in Nepal

I went to Nepal for a trip and that's when i got recommended one of his videos and i was really shocked to see how he used elements from his country into the game.Even the voice characters and weapons like khukri and so on. There is even a earthquake situation in this game which is crazy to think that 1 guy built all this. More importantly the Art Direction of this game is superb. This is so much better than Mumbai Gullies or whatever

What ever you are saying u r saying it wrong I agree we should learn from each other but Im a Indian indie game dev I'm representing Indian game dev community we know to build games but we dont have audience to advertise for free. and we don't have money to spend money. coz if i try to do job and game development which is not possible for Indian game dev's to even though after building games. game dev has very small hope his game to get succeeded. INDIANS are not DUMB or HOPELESS WE DONT HAVE RESOURCES. if we focus on game dev ghar keliye roti kamata hai bhai esiliye india ke hazaroo game dev's appna dreams ko choddete hai.

Maybe he is just a level designer who designs maps or game levels, which is why those maps look realistic and appealing. Vegetation assets were on the market, and terrain, animation, and vehicle controller assets were also there. I still think that ashim downplays what a team could do, it can really help a lot if he gives them the direction and helps them learn and understand while building this project, as this looks really promising . I am sure there would be developers who would want to contribute to this project . Inspiration can die down fast so time is really the key, but if its financial issues then really cant say much
