I bought the tc8 and like it but the drive cups are super week as they have large notches where the drive pins are just wearing them out I have only ran it 4 times. I hope I can find higher quality parts to upgrade it?

Hi Phil great video buddy well impressed with that and. Loads of potential for an 8s set up , did you have to pay much import duty on the roller, might have to save some penny's

That's awesome the ESC didn't cut off with those Monster Lipos.

That thing is impressive! It'll slip and slide when you want it to, but seems rock steady when you need it! 👍

Good video and great information! Did have a general question, what’s the deal with parts? Any links or how do you source them? That’s my biggest hangup. The roller seems to be the ticket...

Which motor combo are you putting in the roller please mate? And could you put some larger off road tyres on it and run it on grass like a Mohave?? 😊 How durable are the tyres compared to the hoons?

Hi just a quick question I have a 6s battery it takes so long to charge so what I heard was that 1 cell must be to high or idk but I heard u mention to trickle charge it dies that work

Nice! Roller is definitely the way to go... They're a completely different car (the Arrma and ZD I mean), it's nice to see ZD bringing it to the market. I certainly prefer the ZD over the Arrma, for what you're buying for its price and how capable the ZD is, it's the ZD all day for me. Plus, I've got two other ZD's, extremely tough RC's. And by jingo's - it can certainly shift in your video, I like the sound of it too as it flew by, impressed, for an electric car. Watching all your vid, I think you've just convinced me to buy a roller..

Great run, and 71mph is a decent speed considering it's stock; hope you FOD checked it's tyres after that run through the loose stuff... 😉

I've seen so many videos about this car in the past days...loved to watch yours...and now also ordered a Roller one! :D What I'm asking myself...did you do any adjustments on the steering, camber, diff fluids, etc. because it is running so straight and fine!?! Thanks for commenting!

Great bashing video, highly tempted to get even the rtr version. Ive been twiddling over the choice for months...but this video has also shown me enough of the roller's weaknesses (and also, zd's lack of quality and reliability spare parts compared to arrma long term) to spend that roughly 100-200 extra dollars on the felony instead.

Its not even close to a arrma lol some people just need something to grip about lol I could never afford either or anything even remotely close to those prices so ill prob never even see one I was lucky to be able to save up enough for a hbx 16889 witch I love but I'm a cancer survivor twice over but was left with a brain tumor and a seizure disorder and unable to work so I now live on a very small fixed income 750 a month dont go far when my rent is 675 but I have my life and a 4 year old son he loves the hbx 16889 hope one day to get another for him too thanks for sharing Tomley

@@TomleyRC you should have seen my face picked the car out of my trunk 😎got my lipo case out. Strapped the lipo in turned it on drove to the open spot where i could rip it😋 hit the throttle and i was done 😳🥺😭

I just received my ex-07 in the mail charge the batteries hooked it all up but the lights don't work they come on for a few seconds and then cut off is there something I'm doing wrong if you can help me thank you

Holy s#!$ that looks like so mich fun! I put a 3660/3300 kv motor with a 150 amp hobbywing running 42t spur and 27t pinion im my kyosho hellcat and it too is absolutely mental. I also just swapped the plastic driveshaft for an aluminum. Thanks for sharing this, I love the street cars 👍🍻

Whats about the Zd Racing Truggy?

It’s cheaper to get the rtr wen all u have to do is jus change the esc n maybe the servo.. buying the roller you’ll end up spending bout $300-$350 more for the electronics maybe a lil more.. rtr = $640 change the esc… roller = $509 plus another $350 for electronics and u lose the light feature control

I think is bad to beat down on a little company like zd racing and be happy that they gave us this model. Nobody beats down on arrma for copying the hoonitruck design.

EX07 seems to have better quality tires vs the Hoons. My felony goes through those hoons. Especially the front ones

On my 👍🏻🇺🇸🚀really cool love it really love Mustang’s have a real one but wouldn’t drive it like an Rc .

Honestly mate I wouldn't call it a rip off its competition for these big companies. But they could do with better electrics for the RTR. The roller does seem like the better option due to electrics

Change the pinion and go for the ton!

For some inexplicable reason banggood aren't shipping these to the uk. I have found some on Aliexpress that will ship to uk but they haven't got the rollers only the RTR's. Very annoying!

I wouldn’t get a roller.. it wil cost u more to put youre own expensive electronics in it I kno I did the math.. jus buy the RTR n simply replace the ESC it’s way cheaper and it’s the one n only major problem.. RTR u get 2 batteries and the remote that controls the lights features n the E brake

$200 more than a Rustler 4x4 VXL, yikes. It costs more than a Maxx. Why on earth would you spend over $600 for a chinese clone with next to no 3rd party upgrade parts.

I keep trying to get them to send me one but they won't lol I'm even an affiliate too and nothing idk if it's cause I'm so new but I want one so bad lol I don't care how I get one I just want one...

You've been pretty diligent about "paid promotion". Unless I missed it I'm wondering why you haven't put "paid promotion" in this video. You are running the #43 RC that I believe was was sent to you at no cost. Not many in the RC KZreadr world are diligent about adding "paid promotion". They may thank Horizon for the RC but are not clear that it was sent at no cost to them. The top kids KZreadrs always state when something is a "paid promotion". They risk too much if they leave it out.

The main focus of the video is on the 'roller', which I bought...as well as the limitless. When people send me stuff for review,, they only require a single video... I'm not under any contract or agreement for more than a single review. So I use my own judgement on when to put Paid Promotion and when not. If I was to put it every time there was something in the video that was sent to me, I may as well just throw it on all of them lol

I could not care less if it is licenced or not. I was not going to get one but did as the price for me was $300AU cheaper than when it first came out. The Armma Felony has the same style MUSTANG body and is it licenced? Do not care either way as I am not going to put the stickers on mine like any other RC car I have got that has them. The SMOKEY & THE BANDIT TRANS AM body as an option would be just as nice and it would be great to see some MOVIE CARS made like CHRISTINE, THE A-TEAM 1983 GMC VANDURA, THE BLUES BROTHERS CAR, K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R. , THE DELOREAN from BACK TO THE FUTURE 1 2 even 3 as an off roader. There are 2 cars I would really like to see THE CAR from the movie of the same name which was made by GEORGE BARRIS who also made the original BAT MOBILE as well as the TURBO PUSUIT MODE K.I.T.T. but most of all THE MAD MAX V8 INTERCEPTOR. I just bought 2 1972 BARRACUDA bodies for my DR10 and try a conversion of one into it as it is very close in design to the V8 INTERCEPTOR.

I'm really confused why is it important these cars go fast in One Direction.... To me it makes no sense the people would spend so much money on stuff like this they are not competing against anyone else. Oh yes if you're competing against speed records you got the wrong RC buddy. Am I the only one that may be confused why people are intrigued with how fast little electric cars go up and down the street? Whatever it's your money spend it as you may wisely instead of foolishly.

Not that I would ever spend that on a car, due to potential removal of vital organs by the wife. The thing again would be parts, I'd really like the Dbx10 but there's just no spares u can get to the sodding UK.

You should agree with misinformation one video on something completely wrong. Then you can correct it later or not.

@@paulclancy2404 considering most people buy these .. run them for a week or so then resell them just as quickly hence why I say look for something more budget friendly as then when you get board of it you'll still have cash saved and you can either keep the cheaper model for project or sell it for extra cash - would highly recommend not going above £150 price range as I've done this multiple times and unfortunately I'm massively out of pocket now The Rc Community In general is abit hit and miss as you'll find people wanting to genuinely help and the rest of them all just wanting to make money by gaslighting people whom are just stepping Into the hobby 😉 trust me this is all from personal experience ( 100% would recommend just saving your cash )

Haha that is true, what rc community dosen't realize about traxxas , they see it as you do most will get bored and the marketing will always bring new customers, the ones that will stay will think well I started with a traxxas, I say because those that do love rc are dumbfounded why won't traxxas improve , why do all there rcs have good tech but end up being gimmicks. Or something that should've been included for price especially compared to the rest The number one sales pit c h is well always get parts and parts are cheap
