So I’m getting the impression that this show just didn’t want to use any of his well known rogues. It’s ok to give lesser known villains spotlight but established villains are easier to connect with imo

I don't know if they had restrictions on who they could use but I think they did an awesome job without any of the well known villians

And Lunkhead, Junkyard Dog and Doodlebug the two artists guys and Humpty Dumpty are all characters from Arkham Asylum: Living Hell.

Dose anyone want to talk about how this show reimagines a lot of characters, like Humpty Dumpty he really different from his comic counterparts where in the comics he means well want to help fix people but his idea to fix people is take them apart here he is a revenge driven, and Manhunter was original just a normal guy in the old comic but was reimagined into the robot that people most known.

The Manhunter that was presented in this episode (Paul Kirk) and his successors are different from the Green Lantern android ones. I think the story for the episode in the show even adapted a story from the comics that also involved cloning.

A lot of people hate on Beware The Batman, but I don’t know, I thought it was a pretty good show! I would’ve loved to see what season two was gonna be! Barbra as Robin and Tatsu as Nightwing is an inspired choice and I think could’ve been interesting!

Good video overall! While I liked the first half of the show more than you did, I did think the second half really found its footing. I wish they had been another season or two to maintain that momentum and improve like the previous Batman shows did before it.

I liked this show! Yes,it was different,but I can live with that. So, it's bearable.

The whole point to Simon Stagg originally was that he was supposed to be a caricature of moustache-twirling villains. The original Metamorpho comic lampooned several cliches.

I really thought this show was pretty good, so glad it's finally getting attention after being forgotten by many people! (& yes, PLEASE do Batman Unlimited with the web series & movies)

Your musical selections for each episode earns a subscription from me 🤘🏽. I am aware that CGI is usually cheaper in comparison to 2D/hand drawn animation, but there is just a certain element that CGI can not sometimes capture. This series is similar to The Batman (2004) in a sense that it somewhat deviated from the traditional animated Batman formula. It may have benefited from an additional season or 2 but alas it was never meant to be. Superb video 🤘🏽.

I remember Batman Unlimited, particularly the movies like Animal Instinct and the other one with Joker and Scarecrow in it. Was that the same one with Mr. Freeze in it or was that a different one, I never said I remembered Batman Unlimited well.

My favorite part of this show is when Batman just looks around, they nailed that restless obsession. And all the things he'd observed at the start of the episode comes useful later.

1:16:31 he looks less like Two Face and more like Joshua Graham from Fallout New Vegas 😂. At least in that episode.

@@Zach.R Yeah. It looks great from the trailer especially the designs of 2 face and clayface. It has a real dark and gritty look to it, so if there is a chance for more seasons we might get a more deranged version of Pyg but the creators would still have to tone him down a bit.

Yeah I was going to mention that it's similar to the green lantern show but for some reason I think that show works with its style over this

I love this show so much tbh I love seeing random D list characters rocking up (most of them written particularly well here too), i think subbing Katana in for a Robin role brings such an interesting dynamic than the usual and also any time batman is actually a detective trumps anything Nolan ever did. Only negative of this show i can think of is theres nothing happening on the streets of Gotham, its like a ghost town, but thats obviously down to the budget, IMO it is up there with Btas and the Arkham series, excellent excellent interpretation of the batman universe ❤❤

I’m convinced this show along with the young justice revivals were just attempts to make the “Batman and the outsiders” comics relevant so they could get away with making even more Batman content. Why put so much effort into Metamorpho and Katana otherwise. Not to mention Young justice being revived just to bring out Geoforce, halo and metamorpho. Simon Stagg got a big push in Batman media over the last 10 years and I find that suspicious.

I know a big point was going with lesser known villians, but honestly the majority are just known villains wearing a different skin, Anarchy and Magpie were just the most blatant.

Not a fan of this show I tried twice to watch it the furthest I got was like ep 7
