Is This Even Malaysia?! SHOCKING First Impressions of Johor Bahru! 🇲🇾

In this video, we are exploring the city of Johor Bahru, which is just across the Malaysian border from Singapore! We hit the streets to explore famous local foods that might surprise you and give our first impressions of this multicultural city.
We start the day at a local eatery where we try some different Malay and Chinese foods while also getting one of the restaurant's specialties, curry buns. Then we hit the streets where we stumble upon a street market before going to a 100-year-old banana bread bakery. After that we go to a Pakistani snack spot before getting some juices, having some fun, and ending our day with the most Malaysian restaurant of them all... Subway!

The reason why nobody walks is becasue nobody likes to walk in JB😂 People just drive everywhere. And there is barely any public transit so everybody just drives. Also if you haven't noticed, it's hot lmao. The sidewalks get busier at night when the weather is cooler.

My recommendation would be Classic Hainanese Kopitiam Restoran Hua Mui, Restoran Ya Wang for Classic Chinese Fares, Meldrum Walk Street Food for famous Oysters Omellette, Chicken Wings, Satay. Nasi Padang Sukaramai for Indo-Malay food or try the Street Burger next to Hotel Gateway..

Know the long bridge like cliff to cliff, i imagine if like a walking or cycling place(even if no cyclist yet as story as they use underground-trade to balance n move), like to be beside checkpoint, to move like nice try for solo life? The starting part the food looks nice. It's about the "unfairness before world war" that a war reason is definitely their getaway reason("it's been them" kind of fake self-defence).

Like ever at 24mins 24s before. Familiar. It looks dangerous anyway, after that r those round step-path without fence, why nyt just a normal bridge? And remove the seat maybe - about fall accident to it is definitely injury. Like use a normal side seat, if metal at least it's empty inside? I imagine if someone making it easy to murder as a secret fact.

22:40 because the city council and government are HOPELESS when it comes to town planning. Public transportation isn’t reliable so people just depend on cars to get around yet parking spaces are sorely limited. And jb city centre seems so detached from the rest of jb especially in terms of inhabitants because they keep building insanely overpriced properties in the city centre mainly to attract foreign investors leaving those units empty most of the time. And they wonder why the city centre isn’t thriving. Oh btw the city council moved to a new fancy building, in a luxury development project, making it even MORE OUT OF TOUCH with reality. The city is littered with potholes and mostly non functioning street lights yet keeps promoting itself as international city. Well dream on!
