Let's be real most people didn't buy MOPAR for electrification or 6 cylinders. They bought them for the 5.7, 6.2, and 6.4L. The end of an era, make all the boat jokes you want but shoving a massive V8 in a sedan will always be cool. RIP to the Charger and Challenger.

@@K_patts8370amen to that brother . I’ve had two 5.7 hemi’s , one of em was a ‘14 awd rt charger and that mf guzzled gas like It was nothing even with eco mode on . Now my ‘22 rt is a bit better on the gas side since the awd system isn’t there

They be back , go talk to your local engineers at a power station we will NEVER have the grids to support EV crap. Just wait they’ll be back again was things get back to normal soon . Plus EV sales are bad now 👍🏻

Why why does everyone talk about the technology and how old it is if you love cars and love this type of cars the technology is not the first thing that comes to mind it's the power and sound and driving experience if you want a technology car buy a car that is new that is not like this type of car! Because the car hasn't changed for nearly 8 years. My 2016 Hellcat looks no different on the inside than at 2023. They could've at least updated the interior to look like the Durango.

@@RaitisRides These models have changed little since 2015, so are you going to go with the same car and power for years but keep increasing the price? There's an excess of Dodge muscle cars on dealership lots, possibly due to high sticker prices and interest rates. I have still seen new 2023 models need to have a huge discount before new models roll in.

IMO, people put up with everything else about these modern Mopars *because* of the Hemi. Let's be honest, the overall package isn't great, but the drivetrain is fantastic. They're about to see what happens, I think.

Agree 100%. I traded a C7 Singray for a Challenger Scatpack because, well, it's simply more fun and the Challenger is gone. What a great run. Never getting rid of mine. Now if I can just figure out how to convince the old lady that we also need a C8.

I got to spend some time out at Radford (formerly Bondurant) here in Phoenix hooning Challenger and Charger Hellcats around, and I gotta say, it was a fun day. The supercharger whine is addictive, and the grip while you're doing autocross is ridiculous. Would I buy one? Hmm...no. But they're fun! Thanks for the video, Joe!

As always Joe, a Great review on a true muscle machine. Beautiful car and definitely a classic color . I personally feel the Scat Pack is a sweet spot. Good for daily driving and plenty of power for enthusiast driving.

I actually liked the 2011 - 2014 Chargers (before the refresh). I liked the lines a little more. IMO, it looked "bolder". I wonder how those would have looked in a wide body version.

I would say this car represents the very highest performance I.C.E. Muscle (not Pony) Car EVER. It is quite unidimensional, but can be daily driver if you have a "pursuit tanker truck" to regularly feed that Mamba Jamba Road Rocket.

Literally 2 days ago, I traded in my 2013 genesis coupe for a fully loaded 2021 Daytona. It's the sweet spot. Enough power to have fun without compromising normal driving. Just need to replace the 245 tires with something with a larger sidewall. I also don't understand the hate with the interior, it's comfortable with all the amenities. The only thing Dodge could've update is the backup camera with a better resolution

2023 Dodge Charger R/T 392 Hemi Scat Pack Widebody RWD Sedan!

I am a JDM guy but even I know it doesn't get better than Dodge. You want a big, fast and good looking car or SUV than Dodge is the best option.

I wonder if the SixPack will be lifted a little or stay lowered 😮

If I were in the market, I'd take that over whatever disaster Stelantis is cooking up with the new EV and turbo 6 Charger. Stelantis seems to be hell bent on destroying Dogde and Chrysler. Hell yes to the V8. I'm keeping my 2018 Challenger Hellcat Widebody and will continue to enjoy it for years to come.

I would buy an electric golf cart maybe, but that's it. Oh, and electric R/C toys. My brother loved his Plum Crazy MY15 Charger R/T so well he traded it in on another Plum Crazy MY23 Charger Scat Pack widebody 392.

I don't think it's worth it strickly due to this year having that old *Work Van* interior as I call it. Very dull, and reminds me of a work van. The new interior tho of the latest ones look next level. Very excited to see you trying that bad boy out!!

Purple People Eater Dodge Charger with the 440 cu inch V8 back in the early 70's was a great color for the Dodge Charger. Little bit lighter Purple than this car.
