Breakcore is defined by its time signature, bpm and breaks. You need the other two for it to be part of the genre. Otherwise, it’s interchangeable from other types of break music like jungle.

everybody seems to miss the fact that breakcore typically has a hardcore/gabba mix. Its called breakCORE for a reason.

Its half way there. It definitely is chaotic like breakcore but in the structure of the breaks it feels closer to normal DNB

I went in expecting another ambient D&B track that plagues the internet these days, but I'd say yes this is Breakcore. Some would say it's not fast enough but technically BPM isn't that big of a factor, it just needs sampled breaks (or self-made using percussion samples if you have too much time) that are chopped and heavily manipulated, and a frenetic chaos and unpredictability to it, with very little repetition. By those standards I'd say this fits the bill. It does sound more like an extended sketch than a finished track though, but I think with a little more practice you could make some real bangers, so I hope you keep at it. :]

In fact i can't stand AFTER imposing that NO breakcore is not the same as ambient DnB, yet you still find countless of videos online with Breackcore in the title but no breakcore inside whatsoever. I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but I REALLY hate mislabelling EDM genre, given the fact that there are thousands different genres and sub-genres that are quite similar in between them

Try to chop up the breaks to the point it has no clear pattern on the amen break samples. Hardest part is to make it sound good as well with having no drum pattern, though even if this was not entirely breakcore its still a good mix. Keep it up
