Hi Shelly! I totally identify with your experience. I really wish abusive partners would let their abusees go when they realize they cannot control themselves or love them the way God intended us all to be loved by a partner. Unfortunately, when you walk away they try to make you into the villain even when you leave peacefully. I hope you find your way back to your church community or find one that you'll fall in love with. It is because of brethren that I am standing so strong today. The way my church has supported me and were there for me is something I will never be able to forget and I am grateful God led me there. I truly believe that my relationship with God is the love my heart has always desired and did not realize I always had. Once you realize that, the love of others that God may later bless you with hits totally different because they see you as God sees you when you are shining for Christ. It is truly surreal. It is remarkable when someone is attracted not only to you physically but your passion for Christ and your spiritual walk.

I actually do have the crazy curl foam. I tried it on its own as the directions stated that would work but it made my hair feel so dry. I will try it with some leave-in sometime and see what happens 🤔

I stopped because I think I was sensitive to some of the ingredients in them. However, I think the shampoo was also a tad bit too stripping for my hair. So I’ve moved away from using the shampoo and conditioner. I am still playing around with deep conditioners. So far I like Amika Soulfood, Miche Indulge, Shea Moisture Intense Hydration, Morrocan oil hydration smoothing mask and TGIN Intense Hydration Mask. 💖

@@shelly.v.247 ya know some things I took from them i actually don't use raw oils or butters anymore, but the over shampooing (when all my products are already water soluble), no deep conditioning, no leave ins, and the curly cuts 🫠 I had to big chop

I think we might also remember that our water has chlorine in it and in some cities it's heavy. For instance where I live in Rahway, New Jersey the chlorine is very strong because I can smell it.....I don't drink their water and I'm seriously considering a Counter Filter for my kitchen, and Shower Filter. More importantly in the County where I previously lived all Tenants received a warning letter that the County had received Notices from The Board of Health to fix their water problem....but I must say it wasn't the fault of the County....it was the fault of the "Property Complex Owners" who waited a whole year after knowing the problem to finally notify us Tenants that they were dealing with a water problem....so much for caring the Tenants who are paying their rent. And, yes there are lawsuits against that Property Owner. Take care of yourselves ladies....find out what's in your water. (I'm just saying.)😍👍🏽

Water can definitely play a role in the health of our hair. The build up of minerals from hair water can be very detrimental for sure. Great point Sis!

I went without a leave-in for 2 months and absolutely hated it. My hair was so much drier. It felt like 7-8 day hair after 1 or 2 days.

No I didn’t because since the making of this I’ve moved away from hard hold stylers. So now I’m using stuff with a more flexible hold. 💖

Yes, they actually seem to last longer because my hair doesn’t start feeling all extra dried out! I can go 7-9 days easily with most sets. My scalp starts itching way before my wng gives out! 😅
