For anyone who doesn't know if you chain eternal favorite to another effect then spirit of yubel can search. That is definitely something alot of new yubel players miss so you good

@superking19 opponent activates any effect, chain eternal favorite. Spirit of yubel summons, opponents card resolves, now since something resolved after the summon of spirit of yubel you can activate her effect as it's no longer in response to the summon. Does that clear it up for you?

Damn with those types of mistakes, that's really good of you as a person to still post the video regardless bc it shows you trying to grow and recognizing you made a mistake and where the mistake was and then teaching others so they don't make the same in a TCG arena setting. Good for you man.

It happens no matter how much you play a deck mistake can happen especially if you're new to a deck and even if you play a deck for years it's easy to forget effects if you haven't read a card or cards in ages

2:19:30 you need to send to graveyard eternal favorite trap as cost to use its effect to fusion

57:42 you get turn player prio for the triggers. His trigger would go first then you could chain mud because mud is not a trigger effect

@@josephschwartz169 not the point. Flamberg triggers, then mudragon can quick effect and it can be negated in that sequence. And follow up from flamberg does matter

In the very first game, ponix got popped by sky burn, but did not get added to the hand in standby phase. This effect is even mandatory, when it got destroyed by card effect. Just noticing it.

Every player feels like that bro, go and just play. If you have a sibling or a friend then it’ll make it easier. Depending on what locals are around you, you’ll find some that are more chill and casual and you’ll find some that are more competitive. Personally the first locals I went to for a bit was on the more competitive side and players are much more stand off ish and I only say that because within the local discord I thanked the locals and players with a really friendly message and no one responded and had other conversations completely ignoring my thanks, but I don’t take it personally just those players aren’t the type of people you’d want in your circle of friends. I found another locals that was 5 mins down the road and the shop is only half competitive and extremely friendly and welcoming to all and new players that walk through the door. I say this to say go play and you’re definitely going to find a community of players that will welcome you and it might not be the first locals you go to but keep looking and you’ll find it bro.

@GunnerDuels the most I do is I meet ups with my friends and we battle it out and one of them is a ref for yugioh tournaments so we ask what we are doing (our combos ) are legal and we didn't mess up on something

@@Wolfyy-jz2uh that’s awesome and exactly you’ll definitely find players that want to help new players or even ppl that come back into the game because we need ppl to show up to locals in order to have fun with irl cards. I don’t personally understand people that are rude or dismissive to players because in order to have a community you have to be friendly at welcoming, otherwise you turn people away from Yugioh which is counter productive

one thing i said i always wish they would do is have card be able to pull up projections of the monsters like if we placed them on a matt in real life that would be fire technology . i was watching the show and realised they could do it irl

Hey I would like to say something and correct if me if I’m wrong l am. After Sam activates eternal favorite and uses the 2nd effect to fusion summon it states”discard 1 card and send this face up card to the GY:”. He leaves it on the field and continues to use it. It was first used at 2:19:12.

Hey Sam, i just saw what u said about that eternal favourite missplay u did with spirit of yubel. A little tip about that. If u use eternal favourite to summon spirit as chain link 2, then you can activate spirit of yubel effect to search or set since it wasnt the first chain that activated, therefore it didnt resolve last

The Sam most are known seeing is the bad duelist Sam who cheats lol but the real Sam is very respectful and not a cheater when at locals and especially tournaments, the real Sam will even admit his mistakes and that is part of being a great duelist, learning from your mistakes and admitting them. I think it's fine. I've also forgotten that Eternal favorite prevents either player from responding but it wasn't me who tried to activate something it was my opponent. they used Divine temple to summon from S/T. and I didn't catch they couldn't do that and I lost that game since I let it resolve when it shouldn't have.

You misplayed with rage in fourth round, can only be used in the opponents main phase, anguish you can use in your own main phase

question for all who might know. why couldnt he activate flamberge after super poly? I mainly play on MD and ik that it uses OCG ruling for certain effects is that the reason?

Going to my first local tournament in about 12 years tomorrow and this video got me kinda hype for this Win a Mat tourney for RC2

When you use eternal favorite to super poly you have to send that face up card along with a discard to the gy. You didnt and then used it again the following turn

Yubel, Spirit Yubel, and Terror cant be destroyed by battle. 1:28:00. also Yubel/Terror makes your opponent take the damage instead as well so both Nightmare pain and Yubel/Terror do the damage (So would be doubled).

That's what I thought, too... But spirit got negated by Scareclaw Kashtira (you can hear them talking about it when Unicorn attacked) Still I am confused by one thing in this interaction: After Spirit destruction it shouldn't be able to summon Yubel bc Scareclaw Kash negates UNTIL THE END PHASE, right? Or does the negation not count when leaving the field?

Eternal favourite goes to the grave after you use its 2nd effect (2:19)
