Great review! . It is an amazing design, but too packed. The fireworks didn't need to be that big or shiny. (The Mickey Mouse comment is a killing one😂), but since i'm not sure on how shiny are in real life, or how much constrast do they make to the MOP, I jumped on the preorder list to see it myself😅. Still, I think it is a stunning artwork for the price range, and may regret it a bit later, but think this brand deserved to be supported for what they are aspiring. 💪

My taste must be a bit questionable, but i want this and a bel canto

I appreciate the work in it, but it’s over the top. Maybe if it were more integrated into the function of the watch somehow like CW’s Bel Canto.

Seems, with keeping the date anyway, one of those fireworks could have been a clever date display? Design is certainly interesting though, and going all in on their purported Italian heritage. If it was $500, I'd be all in, but just not a big enough fan of the theme to part with $700, although I strongly considered it.

You know I tried thinking about that date complication having a sort of gear at the edge and connect with the other circle. But then you’d have to contend with the weight to gear setup and then still end up with a complication that only moves once every 24 hours.

Always a great review from you. I love my Venezianico, although I have the opposite problem of yours as far as wrist size. I was stunned when I saw the first pictures of this watch. However, I question the utility of the watch, even though I'm aware that "utility" is not what this watch is about. If I'm dressing up to go out, I'm putting on one of my better watches (re: more expensive). Is this like a high-end Mr. Jones wanna be? Mabuhay!

Salamat, bro! well the thing about these venezianico’s is that they use materials and executions a lot more upscale than most in the microbrand segment. It’s almost borderline luxury. I’m sure if they pushed it, they could make a version of this for a couple thousand dollars with the complications i wanted them on. But they chose to make this a little more attainable. It’s not often you could actually own both MOP and aventurine in the same watch for under a thousand dollars.

And if/when FedEx decides to stop messing around and deliver mine, I'll get to enjoy my Redentore Bellanotte......just before my mom confiscates it. This is a beautiful watch. And will hold a special place for both me and my mom......lovers of the city of Venice. This watch speaks loudly of the beauty and history of that lovely city. I'd rather have the leather strap than the bracelet. I think it speaks to the elegance of the Bellanotte better. This watch will have a permanent place in the collection of Mr. Zelos. It could be i have found a second micro brand to obsess over? We shall see.
