Nice!!!
My 2024 toyota tacoma does that lol. Not that much water but I get some when raining for couple days.
Thanks man, had the same problem, wasn’t sure which plugs to leave not installed, Toyota should have let us know about this. Especially since joe blow can easily address this with some needle nose plyers
Thank you so much!!!
Just did my 2 corollas, thanknyou
Thanks man! Great help!

Glad it was helpful!
Thank you!!
This is also happening on my 2020 Rav4. Toyota is absurd to expect anyone to drain the doors.
Whats up my guy, great channel. Dodge Master Tech here, maybe we can link up one eve and livestream with some car talk or some.

Thanks bro, just let me know
Hello thanks for this video! It helped me a lot had same issue on my rear door. Just one thing I didn’t get, should I remove all the plugs from all the doors? Or leave some of them?

Hello, only 1 plug needs to be removed per door. From the Toyota repair manual, for the front doors, remove the plug closest to the front. And for the rear doors, remove the plug closest to the back of the door.

Why put it back on
Thank you for this, now I know which plugs to leave out. My son just returned my 2020 Corolla after 3 years and the first thing I noticed was the water in the doors. I eventually found the plugs and drained the water but I'm worried about rust. Should I be concerned?

Hello, and no, you don't have to worry about it rusting away. It's normal for water to get in there and drain out under normal circumstances. It's when the drain is clogged that you run into issues.

Why would Toyota make a car that retains water in its doors?
Thank you so much for your guidance. This happened to me and I took off the plug and drained the water. I called Toyota to set up an appointment but they’re going to charge 189 dollars for the diagnostic. Can the water cause other issues if I don’t fix the window seals?

Hi, it's normal for water to get in the door. It becomes a problem when the drains at the bottom of the doors get clogged and prevent the water from draining. Once you drain the water from the doors, there is nothing else you need to do. Nothing will get damage.

@@TheYotaChannel Thank you for responding again! Las question: Would it be helpful to replace the seals on that window? To prevent for more water coming in?

@paolar.1397 No, the seal on the windows is fine. There is no need for replacement.

The question that one is asking..how does the water get in there in the first place?
Can I leave those plugs off?

Yes, nothing will happen. I think Toyota didn't want to leave the holes exposed and tried to make it look a little more appealing.
Thank you so much!
