Is there Placer Gold in Northern Ontario? Есть ли россыпное золото в Северном Онтарио?

Placer gold is common in the western parts of North America, but very rare within the Canadian shield. In this video, I attempt to locate placer gold in Northern Ontario.
Россыпное золото распространено в западных частях Северной Америки, но очень редкое в Канаде. В этом видео я попробовал найти россыпное золото в Северном Онтарио.

That's a pretty popular spot at Minette. You can make a days pay for a days work here. My friends and I used to stand in the river and wash gravel using a 48 inch pan, and 2 people shovelling. Check the Placer Gold Book at Sudbury regional geologists office open file reposts

First time seeing your channel, keep up the good work. Very good video and sharing your location, others do not disclose location at all, won't make them rich hogging info like that, especially if there's not too much gold or silver to be found.... (loved your " I'm an impatient panner "- funny - LOL - last week I did the same as you at a lake, this time in Wilberforce, Ontario, dumb of me panning at a lake! ; ) I think I found specks of pyrite and garnets only.

Js buddy you’d have better luck on the edge of the river bank on a curve . Not on the bank they stuff would wash deep . You’d have to dig like 10 ft that high to get enough to even try and sell

I know where I live I have 2 huge rock hills like 50+ feet high and idk how deep but I’m going to dig and search for veins this summer also check the creek with a metal detector. As well as panning the stream or find the river or lake it comes from. But I’m in Muskoka so I’m not sure I’ll find gold maybe silver maybe lead . Maybe even nothing . But I’m going to start mining the rocks even to make a shelter for fun 😂
