Hello everyone! We’re off to our next museum in London- the British Museum. This is a little bit controversial because there has been many claims on the items displayed in the museum. What are your thoughts?

Some may say that the items there are kept for safekeeping but countries where these items were from have been requesting (or demanding???) that they be returned….

@@walkingthoughtsnebraska2207 Thanks for your reply, but it was a joke. I am aware of the outrageous attitude of MY country's, Britains, successive governments to handing back historical items which belong to other countries. I am ashamed!

Agreed to a degree, depends on the safety of the country. Look what happened in Egypt in the Arab spring. Although absolutely no excuse to keep the marbles

Yes, we think that’s one good thing about the museum is that it’s open to the public. You only have to reserve your slots online, which we think is good as it can get too crowded!
