Thank you for your video. I think the more neutral sound of the AT2020 might come from the pop filter. At 22.00 after taking the pop filter off, they sound really close.

Between these two probably the 2020 would be better for that. It’s more neutral.

for recording a bunch of stuffs like vocals, acoustic guitar, or some percussions that later will be heavily processed, do you think it's really worth it to go with lewitt or the at2020 will work just fine?

For soft baritone voice recording (Recitation) in a home studio, which mic (at 2020/2035/lewitt lct 240 pro, or any other below rs.15000)would be better to have a clear and warm/brighter recording output?

Warm and bright sounds like you want the LCT 240 pro. That has a nice presence in the high end

@@RebelTech1990 Thanks for your reply 🙏 Firstly, my voice itself is little low. So, is the Lewitt good for this? Secondly, I don't have any special studio setup, and I record in a normal room. So, which microphone would be better (lewitt 240/ at 2020) that captures no outside sound/ respiratory captures or very negligible outside sound?

The issue is both of these mics are condensers. So they will pick up more of the room. Between these two the at2020 does a little better at rejection but it’s still a condenser. If you wanna stick with a condenser go with the at2020 and use some eq to make it more for you. With a low voice I would go with the at2020. You won’t get the natural high end off like the Lewitt but you can adjust in post to get it close.

It is a great mic and very flexible to many users. The Lewitt can be considered a "Specific type situation" microphone, but I think it stood well with this comparison. Thanks for checking out the video!

It really comes down to what kind of tone you are going for. These mics all have really good to great quality. I just need to know your budget and what kind of tone you are looking for naturally from the microphone? When I say tone, I mean Dark, Bright, Neutral.

I think for a heavier sound and more power you would be better off with a AT2035 or maybe the AT4040 if you wanna spend some more. Now these are my choices. I like the tone of these. If you like a brighter tone the. The LCT 240 pro would work better. Do some more research and see which mic fits your style. Thanks for checking out the video! This depends on how much of the high end you want emphasized. If you want more high end go with the lewit, if not, the the AT2020 or even AT2035 would be better. I feel the 2035 is a better deal if you go with audio technica.

I am in the process of buying my first microphone for my home studio and I am looking for something for trap and pop genres and that responds well to different types of voices that is something standard. I’m good, you would probably be good with a AT2020 or if you can I would spend a little more and get the AT2035. A little more options and it’s not much more in price. You also have to consider your interface/recorder and your xlr cable. Those could make a break a recording as well. Hope this helps, thank you for checking out the video!

hi, I constantly look at reviews of the acclaimed lc240, at2020, akgp120, se x1a/s microphones, and I think which one to take, I have a baritone, and everything is planned into the microphone, singing, shouting, recitative, just speech, there is no super prepared room, which one is better to take? I am writing from a translator

This depends on what part of your voice you want to shine. So the lower or higher parts of it. For a baritone, I would probably go with something more neutral in frequency response. The LCT240 pro will give you more high end that may be good but only if your looking for that part of your voice to be emphasized. The at2020 has a neutral curve that is good to mold. Personally id spend the extra cash and get the 2035. Much better sound for not that much more money. The akgp120 is good but has a bit of a roll off on the low end that might take away from your voice. Hopefully this helps, let me know if you have any more questions. I think the AT2035 would be better fit. You will have a more well rounded frequency response and you also have a low cut filter switch on board, if you need it. Hope this helps! Thanks for checking out the video!

Personally I’d go with the 2020, but one step further would be the 2035. The 2035 is a better version in my opinion
