In 2009 I bought a flapjack with the garden 50p, I did like the 50p but my belly enjoyed the flapjack more, did I make the right decision, yes, works out I paid £300 for a flapjack, it's the most expensive flapjack in the world! But you are right, the value of coins on ebay are ludicrous, then media hyping the coin purchase, majority of the time it's drug dealers cleaning money, then the public thinking they have a chance in making big money.
You should do a news paper article about this subject. List all the coins and current values…. This would put these people back in there box. A return to TV would also shut them up👍

I wouldn’t call it a waste at all - it’s quite an informative video encouraging people to do their own research and not just rely on what the news outlets have to say about coins.
ive had several of them. got 3 sitting in my loose change pile now... they are not worth 1,500 at all..... face value if that..
