Yes Im a Salt Strong insider, been with them from the very beginning when it was a free club, so much i have learned about finding fish by identifying the trends for the area and season, which they teach you, they have that lure in green and pink
Absolutely love those. Its my go to year round with a 1/8oz jig head.
Good job with the Slam Shady on the Reds! I've been a member of Sat Strong for several years and I'm glad I joined. They just had a podcast on trout in the winter, you need to go deeper for them. Find a drop off, 3-5ft with structure and current, next to that flat you were on.

Well, I was wondering when you'd talk about these guys. I joined the club about 8-9 months ago and I caught all my best fish on the Slam Shady, from a 6¼ pound bass to a 16½ inch Sea Trout

@@Ellopez05 sounds like you haven’t been fishing long either, because most fisherman don’t really care how big the fish is but just like catching them. Big fish are just a bonus. What’s your pb bass if 6 isn’t big? Mines only 7 and I’d love to catch another one that big
Much love for the slam shady. Best trout and medium to smaller snook lure period. Solid with the reds and flounder too. I've even been catchin mangrove snapper with them of late as well. Thet just have great tail action with the perfect elasticity. Its pretty much the swiss army knife of lures. The gold digger (dark with gold sparkles) in colder months and clearer weather works great too up in NE florida.
I have been trying to use artificial baits for about a year or so. Never had much luck with them. So instead of giving up on them and going back to live bait. But decided to try the Slam Shady paddle tails. So glad I did. First time I tried the Slam Shady paddle tails I cought a couple of nice Snook a small but nice trout a Slot red and a couple of really nice flounders. Needless to say I'm hooked on the Slam Shady paddle tails. Now they are all I use. I'm sure Justin will be very pleased with them. Unfortunately the weather has been to cold for me to get back out there Kayak fishing. Looking forward to next Spring to go kayak fishing with my Slam Shady paddle tails.
Been a member of Salt Strong for about a year now. Slam Shady 2.0 is probably the best paddletail I've ever used. Great Video Man.

I'm a Salt Strong insider and their online courses (taught by some of the best fishermen out there (including CA Richardson) have taken my inshore game from an F to an A. Can't say enough good about Salt Strong...and Justin you are a great example of what they represent...in your love for not only catching, but for the fish, the water and the way of life. I have much respect for your attitude and the example you are to fishermen young and old. 👍🏻

what about a rodholder raised up arm level while youre on the platform that you set the rod in while poling alone. could even be like a 4 ft pvc
Railblaza quick grip paddle clip will help you secure that push pole.
Awesome video my guy slam shady is killing the reds 👏 💪 👌 can't wait for your next video
The “beat up” red was more than likely a fish that was feeding on oyster beds lately and sometimes when they have there noses down on the beds they scrape along the beds and make them just look rough. I’ve caught a few around oysters that just look worn a bit lol

Great video on the Slam Shady. Salt Strong is fantastic for us amateurs! Question , where can I find that jacket you have on?
Great vid helped alot can I use this from shore as I don't own a boat yet thx for your help
I got my free pack like a year ago, I ordered two 100 count bags of those. I also ordered a 100 count bag of the pink ones. They're great!
You should set up a pole holder for the poling rod so you can just jab it in the holder and then pick up your rod without making alot of noise
