Probably never know what the cross with Roses is. But it reminds me of the description of Jesus found in the O.T. Songs of Solomon 2:1. Be my guess anyway: “I Am the rose of Sharon, and the lillie of the valleys.” It was great to see you all out hunting again. 👍

The seated quarter is my whale. I’ve found dimes and even a seated half here in Washington, so it will happen eventually. 👍🏼

That round object with the cross may be a rosary. Count the round beads. If there are 10 then that would be the 10 decades of the rosary. Just a thought???

Yes, that could be it. Researching further now. Thank you for the help! 👍🏼
Looks like a broach instead of a button. Can you find 2 connection points on the back?

Not that we can see. I’m going to try and clean it a little better and see if that helps.
It was probably a memoriam put up by his family

Keep swinging, you’ll find one. 👍🏼
that was a fun day. I liked your finds but was a bit wary of the bloke with the headstone in his backyard. Make me wonder how many more bodies he has buried there. That brass bit with the loops could be the innards of a rank shoulder board perhaps. Just a wild guess. Love the way you dedicate your life to ridding the countryside of tax tokens. I dips me lid to you lot.

Still don’t know what that was. We think the religious piece might be a part of a rosary.
Why don't you ever show the dig? You 3 are not metal detecting, you're simply showing some old coins and "saying" that you found them with metal detectors. For me, watching you FIND the coins is more enjoyable than just showing some old coins that could have come from anyplace.

You should try it. It’s a lot of of work. Especially with editing and takes too much time.
