WOW! 42mpg! That’s almost exactly the same fuel consumption as I get out of my 3 litre diesel Mercedes CLS. I think I know which one I prefer 🤣. Great review though Matt 👍

My thoughts exactly. Can't get my head around why anyone would want the additional complexity of batteries (including the increased carbon cost of production) for the sort of fuel economy of something decent that has already been manufactured, that you can maintain and keep. I can get 40mpg out of my 428i Cab on a run easily without being especially careful. I get EV's or hybrids that solve EV problems but this is an almost £40k lump of dull.

Fingers crossed that more manufactures send you new press cars! It’s nice to see you give newer vehicles a go with your generally brutal honesty.
The quality of this video mad, I see & love the effort that went into it
Had a 2011 juke since 2016. Best car I’ve ever had. 9000 miles on the clock, now 80,000. 1.6 Petrol. Great straightforward engine. Good spec. Paid £7800 would probably would sell for £4500 privately 7 years later.

Hi glad you like it, as i commented earlier i have the 1.0L which i love and it's pretty nippy for what it is, it is currently doing 43.8mpg best run run was 50.8 and i not a slow driver by any means, overall we love it been to Scotland Wales and lots of days out, it had just over 4000 miles on it when we got it now up to just over 9000, no problems at all

Work colleague bought a Juke and hated it. Sold it as soon as finances allowed, within the PCP contact. Thanks for the video, always great to catch up on cars, even these.
Great video as always Matt. I only just watched this but it's timed perfectly as I had a 1 Litre Juke last week for a day as a hire car. I have to say I was quietly impressed. I thought it was quite nippy esp in sport - lol mode! It felt confutable and even plush inside. Got over 40 MPG in the 1 litre Petrol and I noticed that the data on the car was saying it has achieved 59 mpg - there is an eco mode too so that's pretty good. One thing that your vid mentioned was the EV button. I had a Hyundai EV last year and that just smoothly went from battery to engine and vice versa seamlessly without any buttons or switches. Anyway, thanks for the brilliant vids Matt, keep up the great work.
The only unfortunate thing about my juke RS i had was that CVT auto box, May be silly but it could of been so much with a traditional auto or a dual clutch, the big problem for myself was the A Pillar and rather hard to peep around corners and it did feel cheap but relatively well fitted, more utilitarian as they say, the body roll in the old one was so funny, go 20 around a roundabout and you feel like you are doing 2 wheels, was kinda charming around my parts heh, I said i wanted one when they were released, so im glad i owned it at the end of the day.
Another superb review Matt, somewhat better than the Juke itself.
Love the fact your reviewing new models now!
At the beginning, i thought Nissan physically threatened you, so much positivity.😂 But then the old Matt that we love came back 😌 To be fair the interior is nice.

A honest review as always Matt. £30k doesn't register with its target audience as 99% will be PCP'd up for £x per month. I'm sure it'll do well , even in a saturated segment of the market - bought by people who have zero interest in car's and driving, just like its competitors. Pretty much all new cars on the road these days are on PCP or PCH. Even nearly new ones.
They did a much better styling job on these ones. Only problem is build quality/reliability - Nissan used to make excellent dependable well made cars (I appreciate that was a long time ago now) and now they seem infected with Renault disease....
Hi Matt another good video two cup holders bet you were impressed and blue colour
Obviously, since I’ve never bought a Brad new car in my life, I nearly dropped my IPad when you mentioned that something as bland as that would set me bck £30! I can’t help thinking about all the absolutely smashing cars I could buy second hand for less. The first thing which springs to mind, is sitting in your showroom - or was yesterday. It begins with J & even that is a ‘pipe dream’, but I suppose you het my drift.
Love the vidz mate 👌 great review as always 💯
After having ridiculously reliable Yaris 1.33 CVT for 2 years got sick of wind and road noise and said gearbox. Swapped for a Renault Captur DCI edc (twin clutch). Love it. Basically it's 2 years progress over the Yaris ('13 design versus '11). If Nissan want to lend me the Juke 1.0 T dual clutch, doubt it's 6 years progress but it's probably quite nice. They are expensive though.

Another banger Matt 👍💪🏻🔥
We ordered a new mid-range Juke, delivery due February 2024, it's the 6-speed petrol. Tried other major manufacturers but they couldn't give us a delivery date, Nissan did - on-the-spot - with a full choice of colours. It will meet our requirements.
Nice balanced review, Matt, as always. I’d be interested to see your opinion on better cost-neutral alternatives. What comparable vehicle could £30k buy used which would cost the same or less over 2-3 years (including depreciation) but give much more driving pleasure and badge prestige? Mercedes Benz GLC or Audi Q3/5 are the obvious choices. Discovery Sport? Jaguar F-Pace? Over to you…
Method actor!! pure gold Matt.

Very entertaining Matt 👍yes it looks a bit better than the previous model but I’m not convinced. Also that 42 mpg is not good for a small Hybrid suv.
Great review! on 8:11 and 12:34 I was kind of expecting you to say "it's so easy to get in and out of you know", which would be a reference to Top Gear's RoVer James seats 😅
Thanks for explaining the parking sensors beeps, it would explain why every juke leaves about 4 meters to the car in front while in a queue of traffic..
Good honest review.

Surely that e-drive button would use MORE fuel. I always drive with my foot off the accellerator where possible getting more mpg. Not much of an idea having to keep your foot planted to make headway.

Less Puke than usual. I do like that reversing submarine sound. At least you know you won't get depth charged.

Looks great
Quite brave of Nissan to loan Matt a Juke given his views on the previous model! The styling is an improvement and looks quite nice inside although very much like a lot of these SUV/Crossovers or whatever they are calling them these days. Not cheap and the mpg is hardly amazing. No surprise that Matt won't be buying one although there will be a couple on his forecourt in a few years time.
We had one of these from December 22 to February 23. Not a bad vehicle for the driver. But file economy was rubbish considering it replaced a 65 plate c4 Picasso and averaged 10mpg less a gallon. However the car turned out to be far too small and the worst bit was the tide which is brutal. Front seat and rear seat passenger car sick within 5 miles and the kids hated the back. Had to take it back and go for another contract cost a bloody fortune but I’d say imo not a great car for families or anyone with even the slightest motion sickness.
I liked the unique bug eyes on the juke. Adds a bit of variety. So many samey car designs now as companies go for safer dsigns
Steady Matt - you’ll be weighing-in the L405 in part-exchange against one next!
Briliant review, congrats! To be honest I'd still prefer a late Freelander 2.
Think your videos have great presentation are some of the shots done with a drone? Would love to see a video on what you use to produce your videos cameras and software etc...
A button on the key fob to open the boot can be a nightmare: In the old Xsara sometimes i would press by chance and then would need to stop and go out to lock it. Sometimes the person at the petrol station would also pop it open by chance. Them, on the focus MK3, I would sometimes open the boot, assume the car was unlocked, go to the driver's door and try to unlock it just to find out it was still locked. When it was raining, it was a mess. Since then, I avoid cars with those.
Already got one and have a 22 plate Sportage maybe do a video on that mate
In terms of driveability, does the Juke e-power feel substantially faster than the normal 3-litre petrol variant? I rented a petrol variant last christmas while interstate and it was nice to drive in but felt a little under-powered. I like the size. The new Qashquai e-power also looks great, similar size (bit bigger) but isnt available here in Australia yet in epower. Thoughts?
Hi matt whats your thoughts on a 02 reg bmw 3 series convertible 2.5 petrol i have chance of 1 and would love your honest opinion on these big fan of your channel sir
Good review Matt but is 42mpg all that great? I know I frequently bang on about my 10 year old CT200h but I'm averaging over 57mpg in that, so 42 sounds a bit lackluster. I recently had a courtesy car which was the Lexus CT200h replacement model and I could only get low 40s mpg out of that! Progress...I don't think so.

The reversing warning noise sounded like the rear brake shoes were down to the metal 😅
My Grandad opted for one of these 2 years ago on a lease due to it only costing £250 a month. Anyway, it goes back next month and it’s alright I suppose. Standout point has to be the Bose audio system though: truly excellent. However, there are quite a few dislikes that come with it. The first is the ride, perhaps not helped by the Tekna+ 19 inch alloys, is incredibly firm in town. The manual gearbox isn’t particularly nice to use, and seems to have developed an increasingly loud whine particularly at lower speeds. The built quality isn’t fantastic either: the panel gaps aren’t what you’d call brilliant, and the plastics creak more than you’d think they should particularly when you put your head back on those Bose headrests. And lastly the 1.0l engine isn’t really enough to carry the juke- sure, it’s fairly efficient at around 40 to gallon, but I just can’t see it lasting particularly well in the long run, particularly with the regular customer of the Juke being slightly dubious when it comes to servicing. Anyway, all in all I suppose it was a decent car for the 2 years, I’m just not convinced it’ll go the distance beyond that like an older more efficient diesel would that the government seem so intent on us getting rid of. Great video as always though Matt, and it’s great that manufacturers are sending cars across to you now 👍
Watching this in an office in the North East of England, your Sunderland comment made me laugh, and many of the others.....made not so nice comments lolol

The thing that I like when in your last video about the Previous Gen juke when you bought up an example of other cars that others would consider as 'ugly' due to their unconventional styling that splits opinions, here's how I compare these vehicles to based on their reputation: The Chrysler PT Cruiser would be Quentin Tarrantino: Retro design with front being inspired by the Plymouth Prowler, which is car that borrows it's influence from 60s hot rods, then chrysler makes it unique & takes the front of the prowler and puts it on a hatchback, kinda how to tarrantino maintains a classic film influence to how it pays homage to that particular genre in his movies (like, resovoir dogs, pulp fiction & kill Bill) Fiat Multipla Would be Susan Boyle: A car with divisive appearance but it has a decent engine & was spacious that you can take out the rear passenger seats, to how Susan boyle went from an x-factor contestant to creating music albums & single later on in her career. Nissan Juke Would Be Adam Sandler: A very Unfocused obscure design that tries to be cool & funky, similarly to how Sandler in the movies he stars in who tries to be comedic & funny (like Happy Gilmore, Jack & Jill) his career is overshadowed by the films thart are negativity received but made a crap to of money in the box office, to same how the Juke's relatively poor styling & limited room space in the interior sold in total of a million units of the past decade. That it makes nissan's other best-selling model, the Qashqai look like George Clooney in comparison. But at least the 2nd gen juke was fine but slightly improved a bit of the major problems with the Previous Gen Juke, to kinda how Sandler gets decent roles (such as Uncut Gems , Hustle ) But still, I think there are better cars out there I would say like the Toyota C-hr, Peugeot 408 Or Kia Stonic.
Matt, I used to work down the coal mines, it was brighter down there 7 miles under the North Sea than inside the puke.
Hi Matt, what is your opinion on the Nissan X Trail?, as I know you are not a fan of the Qashqai. I am considering an X Trail as my next car.
