Is the new Husky professional duty tool box any good?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I got a chance to check out a new Husky professional duty tool box. Not impressed at all. I do think with a thicker gauge steel and better drawer supports it has potential, but without those improvements I don't see it as a professional grade tool box.

Should have bought an icon for that price
Where I'm from these boxes are just over 3 grand a snap on this size would cost you 20 000 seems like an awesome box for the price
I filled my top drawer with sockets and ratchets and it sagged and marked up the drawer below it. I ended up putting a steel plate in that drawer to eliminate the sag and now the drawer is heavy. I guess we will see how long the sliders last with the extra weight. Other than that I do like the box.
That sucks. The tall hutch looked like a really cool feature.
Since making this video, did you load it with tools? Does it feel sturdy when loaded at capacity? Is the force of the soft close drawers adjustable? Are the drawer slides replaceable? How does the lock function?

I returned the tool box without even loading it up. The things that I point out in this video are why I returned it. I did however, purchase a montezuma tool box and so far, so good. I plan on doing a full tour of it in the near future.
I have mine loaded and not 1 problem maybe you just got a bad box idk. no problems at all on my end.
Someone should look into what professional units cost. He would change his tune real quick. 10 to 20k instead of 2k. 2k on a box ain’t crap.
You gave a review on a product you never used you just looked at it and disliked it
Doesnt look any better than the heavy duty line that i have at home but double the cost. Glad I went with the proto instead for work
It this the standard, heavy duty or the pro series. You say Profesional, just asking...

They rarely, if ever, have these boxes in their stores. On their website it says to order and have it delivered. They typically only have their Standard Duty and Heavy Duty boxes in stock.
Looks like 1g box selling for 3.5g
go buy a matco one for 16k.....
Tim Get a snap on at 3x the price

I just can't bring myself to spend that amount of money on a toolbox. I have considered it, but right now I just can't. I will have an update on my toolbox situation soon.
Even the Icon stuff looks way better.

The Icon drawers are made from a thicker gauge steel and they also have plenty of support underneath. However, I got rid of the Icon due to other factors which I explained in my most recent video.

@@timsworkshop85 The Icon boxes and the Husky are 16 ga. steel.
This is basically a copy version of Mac Tools and Proto tool box.

I wouldn’t say that. Mac boxes are a much higher quality than Husky. They’re in 2 different breeds when it comes to tool boxes.
Icon 73👍🏽
I hope you didn’t buy that LOL
That husky junk is geared towards Midwest kind of guys if you know what I mean! Lol
Chinese made junk.
Stop buying these wanna be brands and just bite the bullet and get a snap on! the company that’s Been Doing it for over 100 years.
