I bought one 4 days ago, and installed it in one room in my basement and the light it gives off, is wonderful in seeing everything. The basement ceiling is unfinished and tall, so maybe the light would look different in a finished garage. But this 81 year old woman, is very happy with light being everywhere to find things "long lost".

Other people are being deceptive with the reviews of this style light. Going to try something else for my working bay above our lift. Something for everyone to think about, also, our center lights are recessed above lift for clearance, this probably won't fit in the hole! We do paint and detail, some restoration, of to more research. 🤞👌

The two I bought made a huge difference. I bought one at Home depot and one at Costco and the difference is like night and day compared to regular LED bulbs.

Thanks for sharing, your video helped me decide against purchasing something of no use too me. I was interested in purchasing for security outside. I needed a light that I could use to alert me of anyone entering our property as my husband and I are disabled and have a 3 acre lot. We just wanted a little reassurance too feel safer . I just installed 4 of these Beyond Bright lights in my garage two weeks ago. They replaced 2 fixtures that had 4 (energy efficient) fluorescent bulbs. They are more than I could ask for. I live in WNY where it gets very cold and after years of having to hit the switch in the hall and wait 10-15 for the lights to maybe come on so I could find the quad to go plow the driveway I think That these will be a very welcome change. All situations are different. Just my Two cents.

Go to HDP or Walmart and just return it.

I bought three of them and they made a huge difference. Granted they just replaced single 100W bulbs but I am sold on them. I’m going to start buying them for the barn and basement.

I tried one from amazon. It’s 6000lumens. Very very bright. It was 25$. That said my ceiling needs to be higher in the garage like yours. I kept it and will add some sockets when I remodel.

I would buy them .just make sure you get the 6000 lumens or better. Going back to get 2 more for attic..

Really appreciate your video Man , I probably would have started out with this same fixture but now I’ll look for a better brand on amazon , I saw one video that tested LZ home lighting , found on amazon and the tester was impressed with its output ( at the same price) I think my only question about these lights do they work with motion detectors hopefully so because I use one with the fluorescent bulb for the regular garage door and I don’t want to get rid of that convenience as I walk in there , once again I ENJOYED THE REVIEW!

Just got one and right off the bat found out that I have a screw on add on to my garages light socket, meaning its a small device that screwws into our light socket so that with can actually plug our Garage door opener into it and now for some reason, the Ever Bright will not screw into the bottom portion of the light socket add-on, so really dont know know if I should return the Ever Bright, or what I should do....

Got 2 of these for my 2 car garage and there an amazing improvement over the 2 led 100 watt equivalent screw in bulbs. No matter where you get them they are 29.99 though ,never seen them cheaper.

what were the lumens on it? I see similar units on Amazon and the Lumens vary. ***EDIT*** I see on the box it says 3,500 lumens. The one I like on amazon says 9,000 lumens

I bought one of these 4 months ago and it just stopped working. I put the old light fixture back and it is working. We need more long term reporting on this light fixture.

My garage has only the one socket in the ceiling and I had the same set up as you using the Y extension and two 100 W CFL bulbs which still was not enough light. I purchased two of the Beyond Bright and since only having one socket I installed both in the socket using the Y extension. On one side it required an inch or less clearance so I used one of those socket extensions that come with the pull chain switch on the side and that worked perfectly. Both lights face in opposite directions and completely light up that garage to all 4 corners. I literally have to squint when first entering. I’m sorry but since having the same set up I just don’t buy the comparison used in this video between the two bulbs even using the one Beyond Brite.

I bought one if these about a year ago for our garage. It is very bright. It was simple to install. You just screw it into the light socket. However, last week, I went into the garage, and the fixture was on top of a box on the floor of the garage and the metal part that screws into was still in the socket. It came apart with the black and white wires exposed. Very shoddy work.

Good luck with yours. I bought 2 of them with average garage use, and both had sections flicker and die on me after only 1 year. I found out they didn't use ANY thermal paste on the led boards, essentially cooking them to death. $30 down the drain each.

Wow I’m so surprised. Just like you I walk through Home Depot often, noticed them yesterday right at the front of the store. Bought two of them. Figured that I was going to put one in and if I didn’t like it I would return both of them. Well I put one in and then within seconds the next one was in the other outlet. I’m super impressed with them!!

I got one the other day for my back porch cause bulb sucks and I was very happy with how bright my porch is now..very happy with it...

I have these in my basement and attic, they've been a God send.

I was a sucker and bought the “max blast” for the same setup in my garage. They didn’t even last a year. One has a burnt out light and the other has two flickering lights. 😞

Still replaced my bulb with this. Then got a $20 costco led shop lights to put directly over my work areas. Worked fine. I had the exact same setup. Not bad.

Great job on the review. I just got an unsolicited email in my junk box and decided to check into this. As usual, the claims are off the chart and the results are not keeping up. I do have two 4' LED fixtures in my garage now and they are a big jump in amount of light and quality of light over what I previously had. Nice and bright. They were $25/ea. I'm sticking with what I have.

@@dbpool I still like my 4' two tube LED fixtures, but I have a neighbor that bought something similar to what is in the video. His fixture has four light panels and it does a good job. I think he got it at Home Depot a few months ago. Don't know what he paid. Install is easy, just screws into a single bulb socket.

I bought one and was very impressed with the brightness. It went out within a month.

I have a two car carport in my home that I been turning into a shop it's open on one side with the brick column in the middle of it and I replaced my fancy decorative light in my carport with one of these and the results are the complete opposite of what you got it is night and day in my carport. I can see at night so well in fact that I usually am doing more at night now than I was before because I couldn't see anything then. I will have to say that I do have them turned up so that they are reflecting off of the vinyl siding off of the ceiling around the soffit and fascia but on the inside of the carport and it seems like that reflection allows it to spread more light. I mean it's enough that my neighbors have put aluminum foil in their windows and have complained several times asking me to keep it off but I would fall asleep at night forgetting to turn the thing I noticed your review is over a year old so maybe they've changed something in the light since then of course I've had mine for about a year now I even just got the motion sensor flood light that's 4,000 lumens and it is comparable to my Milwaukee Gen 2 work light that has 4,000 lumens it's a different color obviously cuz this bright white versus trueview light but it seems to be just about as bright and I like the fact that I can adjust that flood light too in

I p/u something similar from Amazon and it was less expensive. Works great! And, I only have one socket in the garage and no windows.

can you use these outside? I got mine for use outside, but I'm not finding they said anything other than garage.

I just got two of those and I love them I have never seen my place light up like a football field before. I love the two I bought I live in the country of BELIZE. Sad to see this review did not give this product the trophy it deserves.

I honestly believed that the video would show that you kept them, as I've bought two and my garage is literally in daytime whenever they're on. I'm purchasing the new motion detected ones for the garage, moving the ones I previously purchased to the basement. They were excellent, and only 20 bucks at Home Depot

I bought the version with 6000 lumens and the motion detector. OMG, love the brightness, and the motion detector was awesome in the carport - no more fumbling with cell phone flashlight function. At least until the motion detector crapped out 7 days later

I have one and its awesome. Much better than the light bulb I had in my garage.

Wonder why you didn’t tested them turning off the lights one and the other to see the difference

I purchased one of these from Home Depot and it works really great however, I came home one day and in was hanging down by its internal wires and it had been broke!

Got a light off Amazon that looks like that light but light panels are much larger and brighter 8000lm and was 34$ does a great job.

This as seen on tv brand made a smaller less powerful version of the one you got off of amazon.

I bought the "Bell" brand triburst lights...they are fantastic!

the only problem with this light is that the top metal screw that go is go is the inlet breaks off easily. I was trying to remove it from the inlet to fix the base that went looks and the metal Conductor that screws in the ceiling outlet, came off, breaking the cable that connects to the board. I'vetried to rewire the cable that broke off but won't turn on ever. Beware when trying to remove this light from the ceiling.

The same here. I don’t know how many times I’ve looked at this at Kroger.

I have the 6000 lumens light in my garage. It puts out an amazing amount of light. I wish they would have had these years ago.

After I installed the lamp and cut off switch it kept on burning, why is this.....

I purchased the screw in motion version and it wouldn't shut off. I tried it in the garage and basement for 2 days and it never shut off. After day 2 now the light just flickers. Taking it back to Home Depot. I did like the brightness of the lights it lit op my garage perfectly. Just never shut off. Yes the switch was in the right position.

I have the same issue. I called the company and they said the motion sensor is very sensitive, it may even react to vibrations from the street. 😕 Seems silly for a garage light to be triggered by street rumbles. I returned it too.

I just got 2 Tanbaby lights for 29.99 similar to what you got but these are great, look good and come with an extension.

Aren't your old bulbs the kind that are filled with mercury? I seem to remember that breakage of those types of bulbs required a very intense clean up procedure of the area. I don't think I would want something like those, especially unprotected by some sort of shield , in a garage/workshop area. Just my two cents.

I’m convinced you can’t have too many lumens in a garage/ shop. I have a 3 car with somewhere around 90-95k (Advertised) lumens. 3 different times I changed them/ added more until I was happy. One option you may not have thought about that requires no hardwire changes. Put a outlet adapter in your bulb socket and buy a handful of likable LED light fixtures.. lots of options out there. The ones I’m thinking of are 5k lumens and likable up to 8 I believe. That can majorly brighten up a shop that’s only got a couple bulb sockets on a switch.

I have always wondered if that light really would work, great now I can save my 💰 thanks 😊

Maybe the other viewers are blind but the beyond bright is definitely projecting more light. Look at the objects below each light. Also, you should've left the camera fixed on one outlet and swapped out both lights to do a better comparison.

Try making a reflector for you original dual light bulbs. That will create a more full lighted room.. Great content and editing..

These are good lights but the screw metal that goes into the socket keeps stripping

Actually the only thing I've ever noticed that work pasta bowl and the ove glove other that no go remember before as seen on TV with a logo we had the ginsu knife it slices it dices lol yeah rite my mother got one back in the 80s that thing was duller than a butter knife what trash something's actually work other no I definitely recommend the pasta bowl that about it if you could find haven't seen in maybe they have at their so-called as seen on TV stores may I try to stick with proven products thanks for sharing Clint keep up the awesome work no always appreciated

Replace the bulbs you're using with 100w LED bulbs. I have the same setup in my garage as you and the 100w LED are not only brighter but have better light.

Great review. Check out sams club. They have the 4 foot LED lights for $20 and Walmart has the same ones for $18. They can connect to one another and only needs a 110v outlet.

Our Home Improvement department has a wide assortment of 4 foot LED lights! bit.ly/2x16NUp 💡 🙂

It only seems about 11% brighter than the Dual 100W adapter. So, the only reason I can see someone getting/keeping this product is for the 9+ year lifespan and only use it a small room/ closest.

I wish my Home Depo was so "Unbusy" I call mine Lil Moscow because every time I go there I have to stand in Russian bread line comrade, thanks to this Corona spit. I've got some old fluorescent tube ones in the garage going bad & wanna move away from them as I don't feel like replacing ballasts every ten years or so nor dealing with those long, frail tubes that are a pin in the ass to store & install. I just got one today and haven't tried this Imperial TIE fighter light yet but considering taking it back now that I know about that adapter option you use. I don't recall ever seeing those in the electrical section.

I just bought 15000LM 6500K LED Deformable Garage Ceiling Lights from Amazon for $18.00 for a pair(Regularly $31.00, I got an Amazon discount)! These have 5 panels plus a round light in the center for a total of 240 LED's. I installed one in my shed and one in the basement and boy are they bright and energy efficient.

Mine lights up my whole garage very nicely. I had a crappy incandescent in there before. They have one for 15 dollars more that’s roughly 7000 lumens tho

Ok why not put 2 in the adapter maybe you’ll get more???? Just a thought

My neighbors bout 3 of these for there attic I went up there to check them out after they told me about it and it does make a difference then what they had before. I’m not crazy over the price of these things. I’m sure you can find some cheaper and better on amazon.

But he is correct about most things on TV ads. Ask me about the drama I am presently going through with the two POWERXL AIR FRYER GRILLS I PURCHASED AS GIFTS FOR MY SISTERS. SCAM ON SOOOOO MANY LEVELS. Sure wished I had checked the reviews. TriStar is a horror show. My God shine a light on them!

Yours was a 3 panel 3500 Lumens Home Depot now has a 4 panel 8000 Lumens Might want to try that one next?

My BF recently installed 2 of these in our garage. It's brighter than the damn sun 🤣

overall nice review, however a few things: 300% on the box does not mean 300 times brighter it mean 3 times. The bulbs you already have appear to be compact fluorescent not LED. And 2 100w equivalent bulbs is about 3200 lumens which is 300 less than what was shown on the box, that would be less than a 40w bulb.

Just purchased one. Will be taking it back tomorrow it didn’t work.

I bought some 12000 lumen ones from Menards, not sure of the make, but man they are incredible,

Most people aren't replacing 200 watts (!) of brightness from a single fixture, that's pretty darn good. Most are replacing a single 65w or 100w bulb max from a single fixture.

Food for thought, at 5min:19sec you can see the shadows of the fluorescent bulbs off your tool box, pole light, and refrigerator on the right side wall. This means they are brighter than the "Seen on TV" lights and at a further distance. Otherwise the shadows would be on the other (Left Side) wall. If it can't fill in the shadows, it's not brighter. 100W fluorescent bulb = 1,600 lumens (roughly) x 2 = 3,200 lumens. I think the 3,500 claim is bogus, but you get what you pay for.

Just go on Amazon and do a search for t5 LED and grab one of those six packs of 4ft strips for like forty to fifty bucks that's what I did to my garage also get a light bulb to plug adapter so you can plug them into your existing light fixture, and use double sided gorilla tape, there light enough and it makes installing them easier. you can go a step further if you want and plug them into a smart plug then into the light fixture and now you could have Alexa control them

Just picked up the 9k lumen version from Amazon and they are pretty amazing. Buy 1 set at a time and get coupon each time.
