Bob Flavin The E-class Coupe, quiet, a dream to drive and beautifull to look at at. I feel safe and relaxed when I'm driving, I love it, best car I've ever owned !

Bob Flavin Hi Bob for once I agree and like what your driving as I'm at an age that I want only power and comfort. I love the Mercedes and was wondering is the steering wheel still offset to the centre and if so is it uncomfortable or noticeable. Thanks for your great videos. I do hate diesels and still can't understand why well off ppl who can buy Mercedes or larger bmw don't buy the biggest petrol engines over diesels. I hate also that there are little or no large petrol engined BMW or Mercedes to be found second hand in Ireland.

I just bought a 2013 Audi A6 S-line. Best car I've owned yet. I love it. Seats are amazingly comfortable and the build quality is very impressive, compared to the 2012 Mazda 6 I previously owned.

My favorite car of all time is the Skoda Superb Estate 150 tdi top trim. I love it to bits.

My father bought a new E 200 D, fabulous car apart from the road noise. Has standard 17 inch 225 tyres, and is quiet upto around 80 kph, but at 100 it starts getting intrusive and at 120 its fairly loud. Engine noise and wind noise are very low though. I got a spin in a new 520d recently and thought the noise levels were lower overall.

That's a fantastic car but beyond my budget. I've got an Octavia VRS estate which does almost everything well for reasonable money.

Thanks for posting! Best car I've ever driven. I have a 2018 Polarwhite E220d 4Matic Estate with AMG package on order. Delivery in february next year. The new 1950cc diesel engine is very quiet compared to it's predecessor, the sound from it is barely noticeable when you drive the car.

My favourite car at the moment. Probably one of the few I'd consider if I was to change from the Superb I currently drive. Great review as usual. Did you mean 9 speed (instead of 8 speed) at 4.22?

When I was a young man my favourite was quite different. Now its my Skoda Fabia elegance combi, it does everything I want, like today, transporting us, dogs & boating baggage from La Rochelle to home, some 116km at an average of 5.6l / 100km including a 40km blast at 140 kmh on the autoroute, just to clean the DPF officer !

Looking for an upgrade to my C220 Estate (S204) - Do i get a >2017 E320 Estate or a 2013-2016 CLS220/250 Shooting brake? Noting that the 4 pot 2L Diesel on the 17 E class is meant to be more refined than the lump on the CLS and current C Class

How long is it compared to their shortest SUV. Wonder if SUVs have killed the estate? Parking SUVs is helped with parking sensors, rear cameras, flat backs

Nice review! 'Diesel's are on their way out'??? I have the 220D 2020 estate. Diesels are going nowhere! This ridiculous fad with EV's will have to wake up and realise that the average EV is just not eco friendly or realistic for mass take up. Diesels egines, (or hybrid diesels) with a close advance in the fuels will make them the best realitic option for the vast majority of the populous.

fm carv because pricks that tail gate and drive up real close when your on the road, peoples got really annoyed and the government had to take people's complaints

If money was no object, an AMG estate would be nice and deadly fun at the traffic lights

O.K Bob I agree. I had one really weird car and sold it 6 months ago. It was Lancia Thesis 3.0 V6(Arese). Of course they are very rare and people often asked me if this is Jag? And I said no it's a Bentley. Once you own it and realize what a big project this was for Lancia, you start to look it from a different angle. Just put S class and 7 series design from 2001, when Thesis was launched. Thesis still looks modern on 18'. Other two are just boxeS. You know what Jay Leno said about Lancia: "I didn't like it from the start, but more I look at it, more I like it." Yes, the sophistication people don't understand. It was also the first car with the electronic handbrake. I hope your words will become meat!! Greetings from Slovenia

Υour seating position is completely wrong. The back of the seat needs to be almost completely upright.. in a 90 degrees incline. Otherwise it's a sun lounge not a car driver seat
