Is the media getting the pro-Palestine campus protests story wrong?

Pro-Palestine protests and encampments that have sprung up on college campuses have gotten wall-to-wall media coverage. But Journalism Professor Danielle K. Brown argues news outlets are focusing too much on the spectacle, and not enough on the substance of the student protesters' demands. She joined Saraya Wintersmith to discuss how coverage could be improved.

There has been little coverage of what each campuses’ protesters were demanding, and how the college responded with negotiation. Some colleges negotiated agreements with protesters who took tents down. I wish there was more coverage of the demands and negotiations.
