Hi, excellent review. Just something I really dislike, using that "lego clone" tittle really hurts the brand. As you can see, Mega is doing an incredible job and taking amazing new different directions from Lego. The people behind Mega has been working so hard for years and really deserve to get recognition aside from "fake lego", "clone lego", etc. I hope you can change the tittle to something better.

I was searching as “Cybertruck Mega Mattel” maybe other people use these terms too.

I've been a Mega Construx fan for years now, and I actually prefer them to Lego due to their more realistic-colored bricks and because their sets are almost entirely brick built. If this set have been made by Lego, it would've been stuffed full of Technic, and they would've used light bluish gray parts, making the truck look cartoonish. And it also would cost $100 more. I'm noticing that newer Lego parts have the white spots on them as well, although they're not as prominent as Mega's.

The kit was recently on sale at Best Buy for 80 and I got it! I love building these

I bought this for my Grandson, Stephen, who was 25 on Christmas, for his Birthday. Stephen has started the assemble !

I’m not even a Tesla owner (yet) but I’m a huge fan and just got this kit a couple of days ago. Will be a perfect programme to assemble during the holidays! Great video, really brought me in the mood to play with some bricks.

I have had my Mattel MEGA Cybertruck sitting on my dining room floor just waiting to be built since Christmas, and the time has finally come. I just opened it up and am going to begin my build. I found your instructions in the description above for the rear wheel steering and I think I am going to modify mine as well! Wow you definitely put some good time into creating those instructions, so seriously thank you for that. I am going to have to join your forum as well, please forgive me for not already being a member! I have owned my Tesla Model Y now since Sept of 2021 and have almost 9,000 miles on it already. I absolutely LOVE IT! I literally worked overtime and saved up my money for over half a year so I could afford to finance it, and keep my payment low. I'm just finishing building this. I've built many Lego's and IMHO this kit, while mostly amazing, really falls down on a few sections that just don't stay together well. If I was to do this again, I'd probably CA glue a few bits here and there.

Very cool video. I ordered one a few days ago. Haven’t decided if I will open it yet. I already have all three of the other cyber truck R/c cars. I have a two digit cyber truck reservation so I should be able to compare it hopefully soon.

I'm finding the instructions not very clear, and the colours aren't printed very good in the instructions. Tough build.

I just got a £50 mega cyber truck the other day, and it little card can be used with the two parts in the separate bag, over lay the two plates so you have black on grey then yo can the two plates against the instructions on you can tell what colour you need, but for a brand new unopened set I would say £50 was a bloody steal, it’s definitely worth the £300 retail price

Great review, mine arrived in the UK the other day and I will be building and reviewing this after Christmas. Glad to see that you really like it, it does look pretty good! The only thing I don’t like is that you called it a “LEGO Clone”, MEGA in their own rights have some amazing sets and their quality has got better over the years.

Thanks for the review. Ilive in the Netherlands and I bought it two weeks ago for €50. It's nice to build, and I am going to try to make the rear wheels steer. It's my first not Lego set, and It's just good to build.

Thank you for the rear wheel steering mod! I believe step 9 requires 2 six hole pieces rather than the 2 seven hole pieces shown.

I see the options for a new channel. Many KZreadrs got several channels. So why don’t make a children channel where you can build Lego with the typical age of Lego fans👍

Can you make a rear wheel steering step by step video mod .

This is the worst kit I've ever tried to assemble. How much super glue did you have to use to get it to stay together? The doors don't open or close correctly and disassemble themselves if you breathe on them. The bed cover doesn't open, the fit and finish of the whole thing is just garbage. Worse $175 I ever spent.

Because of the price of €68,04 I couldn't resist. Not a good model. Castle Grayskull from MEGA is great, but that's not the thing on it's own package.

My back suspension having issues lowering does your have issues. If not can you make a video on how to lower the back suspension

I've just finished building mine and I also have great difficulty getting the latch to release at the back of the truck via the red tile button. I took the back apart thinking I made a mistake but can't see anything that I did wrong according to instructions! :( That's the main issue I've got with mine. Other than that, I am very happy with the set and would definitely recommend it to others.

Mega aint a lego clone. Mega is mega. Lego themselves stole the pattern. Do you call a Ford a Mercedes clone?

Mega Bloks are terrible when compared to true LEGO elements. The tolerances in Mega Bloks are huge so the pieces are either too tight or too loose. The colors aren't as consistent either. That's obvious in the silver truck bed and in the panels on the door. That said, this looks like a great model of the Cybertruck. Very cool design.

It’s mega construx. They rebranded a long time ago. But if we are talking about old mega than yeah they were pretty unpredictable in terms of quality. Nowadays they got their stuff together.
