Adding hitters to the M’s lineup is pointless until the M’s figure out the reason that good hitters aren’t succeeding in Seattle. This should be the M’s No.1 priority. An outside consultant should study this as M’s insiders haven’t figured this out. In 58 games so far, the M’s struck out 592 times which lead the MLB. Off-season acquisitions were supposed to put the ball in play and strikeout less. I’m sure Vlad or Bo will follow the M’s strikeout trend if either were acquired. The Astros won’t trade Kyle Tucker to a division rival. Keep on dreaming.

Perhaps trade for players who like hitting here. Rooker and Walker would be nice.

Seattle is a pitcher friendly park and hard to hit well in

I agree totally and I think the organization is coming around. A drastic change in philosophy. Long overdue. I've been preaching it since last year.

Offense has Kd 18 times since the brown firing but they still need another bat no doubt about it.

@@ricardorincon2083 I haven't watched at all this year and he has been hurt. his two blown saves in AZ last year reg season and Game 1 World Series blown save. Also, absolute meltdown in another World Series game. I would welcome him back though. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKx2lJato63eqtI.htmlsi=_vD9O2f1Z691slWc

I will judge weather or not our offense is fixed After the royals series. untill we Average 5 per game against a good team.

Today yes they scored five runs, but only five hits and seven strikeouts. So many guys still under performing so badly. This is far from fixed. This is one series which they finally scored a decent amount of runs. And to your point about facing bad pitchers, mariners usually make bad pitchers look like cy young candidates so... If they have taken a step they will perform against bad and good pitching. Please for the love of God!!! I can only hope! It's been so many years of terrible hitting, please lord make these ball players hitters too!!!😊

I don't think its fixed but I also don't think it really needs to be. I think the offense will fix itself. Bats will heat up in the summer. I predict Luis Urias will return from Tacoma as a MONSTER. I think we have yet to see his full potential. He definitely needs more at bats.

Tucker is not the AL MVP right now. Soto and Judge are above Tucker for MVP and by a considerable margin

The Cardinals are tied for WC right now. Ryan Helsley is unlikely to be moved if the Cardinals are buyers at the trade deadline.

Once Julio starts actually hitting I might be more optimistic towards our offense… and there’s no way the Astros are going to trade anyone to the Mariners.

If im the mariners im not trading anything to houston that will help them keep their window open....thats what you guys seem to forget. That makes winning the al west harder than it already is....

I do not see the Mariners trading for anybody between now and the deadline, Ownership is too much on the cheap for everything. Remember we are supposed to win 54 percent. Its pretty pathetic if you ask me. I love the Mariners as a team but the front office i do not trust what so ever.

Another way to look at that trade is that it probably cost us a playoff berth last year. There were more than a few blown saves after he left last year which we finished one game out.

lets see ....early in the week they barely hit vs Houston.....had a game where they faced a starter with an ERA near 7 and couldn't score off him. Then they have a great 3 game set vs one of the leagues worst teams and now maybe they are 'fixed'. No they are not fixed....not close. Not even taking steps forward. They are still very flawed.

The hell are you talking about, bring up somebody with no career experience and give him a good number of at bats. That's a terrible idea when your looking to try and go to a world series here. Last year, two years ago fine. But we should be beyond that right now and we are.

Yes. If an injury happens of course give him some at bats fine. But to bench garver and split time with France in hopes to make this offense better. No way. But honestly who knows what will fix this offense lol maybe your right

Is the Mariners offense fixed? Short answer, not even close. Brant Brown was a scapegoat firing.
