As I said in the Elesa video, Standfast is multiplicative. And it just doesn't cut it: Standfast 3 + Standfast 5 + Standfast 7 is approximately the equivalent of Standfast 9. Not even as much (10.5% of the actual damage against S9's 10%). For 26 energy. That's a dud as I've seen one.

​@@AverageEggmonEnthusiast But Emboar have 5 + 5 + 5 which is like 12.5% of the actual damage, it's cheaper (15 energy) but it's very bad.

I really love to use him as an one hit wonder, with Sc Jasmine and SS Diantha, diantha sets rock zone and takes care of the sides then i just pick -3 sync countdown and half hp, then i tank with roark, 3/5 6ex SC Jasmine just gives him +2 attack, +2 pmun and 2 endurances to tank any hit the opponent launches at him (with -3 sync they shouldn't launch 3 attacks) then i give seun sync with Sc Jasmine, and unleash a fully powered head smash in power reserves 5 range this week i did 37.5k damage on malva just after my 1st sync, it was funny to see like 7k recoil with roark at 1hp

I’m happy. Could it have been better? Yes. Will he *finally* be capable of winning now? Also yes!! I love Rampardos (and Roark) so much 💙💙💙

I actually like the unit, the damage is pretty great for a 3 star

Surprised Roark is STILL almost one shotting himself. I still say that his trainer move should negate a single recoil damage taken. Didn't someone else get a similar skill?

Hugh got a 50% chance to negate recoil and 1 revive (it could also revive after going down by an enemy attack)

Trainer Moves cannot give that effect, because it’s a passive skill.

@@catalyst539 if they want the may add recoil guard next effect, but they won't do that for an old lesser gatcha unit, but they may introduce it for a new unit

Such a shame this character is a... 3 star? Mine's a 5 because I invested, point being if Roarak and Rampardos had more love it'd give me hope for that recoil be gone ability in the grid Raihan has... unfortunately unless he gets a 5/5 grid I don't see that happening, even from a 3/5 grid expansion it seems unlikely. Nuke definitely seems really good... but what you going to use super weak smack down the whole time (another reason we need move tutors, give it headbutt, zen headbutt, rock slide, stone edge literally anything better than smack down so it isn't dependent on head smash for base damage).

Honestly we should have something like Mega Aerodactyl where he negates recoil damage to mimick Rock Head.

Kinda sad there's no Ghost-weak CSMM soon, but hopefully we can see Shauntal against Uxie, right? And/or maybe just off-type one of this/next week's CSMM stages? She pairs w/ F.Allister and Cyntina pretty well, and they don't care about off-type. Also, as expected, her Sync isn't that impressive, even w/ 4 Sync tiles and a 1.5x multiplier (lol), so I've stuck w/ Gritty 3 for her dps instead of switching over to CS2, and I'd kinda recommend it in general. Not that a 10% difference makes much of a difference in a showcase, but w/e.

Adding grid tiles is not enough, they should also add more passive skills if they want to make these older units more viable.
