Actually since the gan robot can use the xs he is probably going to race the robot while the robot uses the xs

Just got the xs yesterday. I'm in love. It's so much more satisfying than I imagined honestly. Only downside is I accidently ordered the sticker version instead of stickerless

J perm: IS THE GAN 356 X WORTH $60? Encoded: Is the Gan 356 XS worth $60?

Hi, i want to buy a 356 but i cant decide if 356X or Xs im worried about two thinks, fisrt the core resistance, is flexible or hard, idk because the plastic plastic friction in the center, bekause just two mini plastic knobs are suporting all the streng in each side. And the magnet strengt, i love the amount of tractcion that gan X gives in each set of capsules, is too much the difference beetwen the capsule set of X and the 3 position configuration of Xs. Im not great in speed but i use it all the day is my fidget, and im interested in resistance and feel essentially . Ty for your help.

I recently bought a gan xs and i am really proud of how it performs. I have only one tiny issue with it. The magnet strength is a bit weak, i would have preffered some stronger magnets for my aggresive turning style but other than that, great performance. Would give a 9/10, worth 60$ because of the wide range of tensions and elasticities.

Well maybe it’s not really worth 60$ but I treat my cubes like video games. I have a 356x, a 356xs, a wr m, a gts3m and a 356i. And I bet in 2-3 months every cube will have more hours on the clock than most triple a video games i played. Also i like the collecting part of cubing very much. Keep us updated if the xs is your new main. I personally use it the most at home. At work i prefer the 356x over the 356xs as the x is more quiet and i don’t want do disturb my coworkers.

What's your setup

The XS looks very fragile like its gonna break after a while if you turn too rough since or drop it from high up, it has a plastic core and tiny tiny plastic instead of a screw in the centers.. im very sceptical about getting an xs over an x

Uhh you shouldn't worry about gan cores breaking. I've had both plastic and metal in different situations and neither one broke. Also I'm pretty sure even if you do break it the shop you buy from will replace it. The previous springs were also plastic and honestly this new system is way better but at the same durability. Get the xs is my opinion, but get the x if you're really that paranoid about breaking it

The XS on UK Cube Store is less than £50. It's £47 I think. 😄😄 I am hopefully either getting the Valk 3 M, about £21, GTS3 M, about £25, Gan 354 M about £28, Gan 356 X, about £37. I am not thinking of the Gan XS, because I have two 3×3 at the moment, a Rubiks Brand 2.0 and my main, Qiyi Sail 3×3. The XS would be to fast for me to get used to, if it's too fast for top speedcubers out there. I literally average 31 seconds!😢😢😃😂 Anyway, if you guys see this long comment, could you please help me out and reccomend a cube?? Thanks!😃
