I had a 2005 SRT10 club cab. It was a great truck that never gave me any problem in 5 years of ownership. The handling was great for a truck and useful as a work truck as it would haul a trailer without even feeling it.

Leave it to a ford guy to chime in butt hurt about something that doesn’t concern him. Lol

You can see the fuel gage drop every time you tap the throttle 😂. I think people reported to get like 5 miles to the gallon with spirited driving. Makes the hellcat look like a fuel efficient prius.

Mine is supercharged so I see about 5 mpg usually around 12-14 stock is the norm

I love it when Joe reviews a vehicle he honestly loves. The pure joy from a man who shares my age is impossible to disguise. Nice review, Joe. It’s not about the numbers, it’s about the experience!

As a proud owner (still today) of a 2004 ram srt-10, this video made me smile and laugh. Your reactions and comments are something I say all the time… yes there are faster ones today but there is just something raw about the truck. I can’t seem to let myself get rid of it. I watch your Videos a lot but this one was special! Thank you.

Yes there’s a couple now of days that are faster. Faster 0 to 60 that is. But you don’t run across them but rarely. However on an open highway they have limiters and they top off around 110/115 or so. Where as the SRT gets them in a mile race let’s say and then keeps on going. I know I have an 05 single cab Yellow Fever addition. For the last several years I owned it It’s never left me down. It surprises many SUV’s even many cars. Trucks? Haven’t run across one yet to this day. That’s a pretty good record of appreciation.

Just gave my 05 (black) quad cab to a buddy to redo the entire paint. Hood, cabin top and bed cover clear coat was fading. Having a hard time finding the badges. They are faded too. 81k miles on the baby. Best truck ever!

I liked the srt models. Srt 4 neon str8 300 and the big bad ass srt10 ram. Super cool even to this day. Love these types of videos

I dusted a Neon SRT 4 with my Integra. All I had was intake, DC headers and a full catback Tanabe G Medallion exhaust. Funny thing was that my car was only a GS. Not even a GS-R. 😂😂😂😂😂. No V-Tec at all. Homeboy thought he can beat me with his turbo srt.

I knew a couple who were early SRT adopters, wife had the truck and it was pretty cool. New Mexico where I lived then was full of these and highly modded Lightnings, fun times and I love seeing these older beasties, thanks for the memory lane ride Team Raiti!!!

I got a ride in that at a Dodge event way back when it was introduced. I was more impressed with it than the actual viper. Amazing handling for such a large truck.

I was fortunate enough to own one of these I just recently got rid of it 2004 Dodge Viper truck silver it doesn’t even ride like a truck it feels like a sports car the way it corners and feels on the road very stable at any speed,Phenomenal truck with headers,one of the best performance vehicles I’ve ever owned....

Owner parked it took extra care of it to preserve it. Never drove it. Now the next guy up in line is gonna get to enjoy the heck out of it. 😏 it happens fellas stay strong 😂

I'm actually heading to buy a 2004 red regular cab tomorrow in Indy. Was sold at Mecum a few years go and now only has 14k miles. Can't wait to get it and row some gears. Glad you got this Dodge Ram SRT-10 with a massive 8.3 Liter V10 out of the Dodge viper these 2004-2006 Dodge Ram SRT10 trucks were assembled in Saltillo assembly plant in Coahuilla Mexico vs the regular production versions

It was actually around $43 in 2004. And in 2004 it only came in a standard.. The automatic came out in 2005..Great vid.

Great video, but I do have to give you a zonk for not mentioning the GMC Syclone when talking about performance pickups. The 1991 Syclone , with a V6, had a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds which was about a second faster than the Ram SRT-10.

I've always liked the single-cab trucks thru the years better...companies need to make more of them..awesome looking one here. That truck will still turn some heads..

I have a 2004 2/door silver SRT10 Ram with only 50k miles on her. I Love this truck!

Yep! Once upon a time in a Galaxie far, far away, trucks were workhorses for sure! I remember as a young boy in the 70s they were already serving as second cars in many families. And by the end of the 70s when I entered high school, they were becoming status symbols! I remember Ford offered the sporty trimmed "Free Wheelin'' package on the last of the "Dentside" generation. And Dodge offered its proto muscle truck, the "Little Red Express Truck" with true dual exhausts exiting through semi truck style chromed "stacks". But, it was only available with TorqueFlite. This one should be a good drive here.

A love that will NEVER be lost! The Boss Beast back then!

Dodge killed it with this truck. They made the crew can auto and more practical for the family and daily driving and made the single can with a manual trans and its fasyer since lighter.

I still have my 2/door SRT10 Ram. I drove my truck, once 145 mph... Super-Fast, for pickup truck.

Crazy to think this is and will always probably be the fastest truck ever made with more and more epa rules. 160 mph is pretty crazy. I know many trucks accelerate quicker but none touch these trucks on top speed.
