    I have 4 P10s. 2 Cs one with an optic and S and the F. All of them are exceptional and very reliable. My EDC is the C with Irons and I never leave the house without it. The best trigger upgrade is the Apex..hands down a great trigger, it’s a rolling trigger so it does take sometime to get familiar with that system. To you point the last P10 I purchased did have the issue with the defensive ammo getting stuck on the feed ramp, it did work itself out but that was an issue so good mention. I love the platform and highly recommended the P10. I also love my Shadow 2 , SP01 and the gun I think is the most underrated is the P07!!! What a nail driver

    @@GruntyCaveman The P01 and the holster is not as thin as the P10C. Further, with the P01 in the decocked position (during fall and winter months) I'm wearing an undershirt which is a barrier to prevent all the skin flakes, body hair, etc (I know gross) from getting down into that space where the hammer is. Ive shot loads of JHP and the force of the slide on its own is fine, if you release it from being fully rearward its fine, but if theres anything less than 100% sending the slide home it can hang on the JHP case.

    That’s interesting I have a 2019 model year. Over 2500 rounds through it, haven’t come across that issue. Neither has the other 3 with people a p10c I personally know. Anything can happen. I have seen that issue several times with a gen 3 Glock. And a couple micro compacts. Mine is great wouldnt go back to a stock Glock. Did carry a clone for a while it was great. With the overwatch precision triggerthe p10 series are great makes a good trigger even better trigger. A couple ticks off from the pdp pro sd. I can see that people want more companies making parts Glock is the way to go. Unless you buy a custom lower though you end up with the Glock grip angle which many don’t like. With Glock there is more parts available but I personally feel they actually need a lot more than many other guns so you end up spending the same or even much more to get similar features IMO.

    Grip angle is just another bs guntubers are selling... If you have one edc weapon, as you should, you'll learn how to make a deadly weapon out of it, regardless of any potential design flaw. If something fits your hand, that does not imply you'll shoot it like a pro. I shoot faster, flater and more precise my unmodified 19x, then any gun on the market, including my only edc, p10s... Why? I've run tousend of rounds through 19x, but the thing is to big for an edc option. Also to note, there is no difference in the feel of both, or to name the one grip uncomfrontable to shoot. Finally, IMHO, grip on p10 is a bit small for my hands, and backstraps only fill the hand, not the trigger reach. That said, M hands should go for p10, while L or larger for Smith or Glock.

  • @GruntyCaveman

    @GruntyCaveman

    @@dawwloI have to disagree that grip angle is BS. If you're accustomed to handguns with a normal grip angle and then try a Glock, you absolutely have to alter your natural point of aim. Yes, you can train and adapt, but it doesn't change the fact that grip angle does change things. Same goes for if you carry and train with a Glock, you must alter your presentation for standard grip angle guns. In all stressful and competitive situations, you rise to the level of your training. As you eluded to, master your carry gun, whatever it is. Thanks for your comment.

    Interesting. I've vowed to never again buy the first generation of any new gun. Manufacturers rarely get it right on the first release, and they let the customers find the defects, rather than spending money on R&D. That being said, my list of demands are: Direct-mount RMR footprint. Grip texture all the way up, where it should be. A factory magwell option, in concealed carry size- The XMacro Tac Ops magwell is a perfect example. Replaceable backstraps that go all the way up under the beavertail, so they don't alter the grip angle. A functional slide stop/slide release. Better slide serrations. A slightly slimmer design while retaining 15 round capacity. In fact, the above list should be mandatory for all manufacturers. There's really no excuse not to have all of these things in today's market.

Do some reading on the topic of modifying firearms used for self-defense and you will understand where I am coming from. Therefore, your modifications to a great firearm might come back to bite you in the a** as this firearm is perfect for EDC out of the box. For all you 2A EDC people, remember: never modify your EDC and stay away from colored frames, and ammo like DOA and the such. I recommend Hornady Critical Defense as the name in it of itself is an asset plus it is made for short barreled EDC guns. They just don't work for me. These guys will say anything and buy anything. Wtf, why buy a glock wanna-be?

    I ran a Glock for some time, among other guns. The p10c fits in most Glock holsters. As far as the just don’t work for me my hand hangs off a g19 unless I have a magwell on it. Probably not a problem for most. Have an old wrist injury. I can shoot longer with other grip angles than a Glock. The g19 is fine but I don’t have to put up with fine. Glocks are freliable get the job done. For guys that aren’t really big gun guys. I run other guns walters sigs and probably get a hk soon. Will build a Glock clone cuz why not but it will have a nicer grip angle than a regular Glock. Won’t be my edc. Know a couple guys running p10F in my home town PD they love them. Good guns Glocks good to. I build/buymy ar for my preference and to the spec of my preferred features why not buy a pistol closer to my preferred spec, and set of features.

    @@andershilmo1866 You can give me any excuse for your lack of awareness. The truth is buyers like you are gullible and what manufacturers are looking for when they make a similar product to gain market share.

    I'm in the same boat with wrist injuries, and that little bit of extra grip angle on the Glock just bites me under recoil.

    @@GruntyCaveman oh yea I forgot about them. I was just curious. I own a P10S and used CZC magwell that interestingly enough also fits my P07 perfectly. So you don’t like anarchy’s products?

    @@bmf572I don’t have experience with any of their other products, but this magwell is terrible. It is a flawed design with horrible execution. The magwell is a completely different shape than the grip opening. They didn’t even try to get it right.
