What did you think of the closed beta?

I didnt play it but from what i see its really good. Cant wait to play it tbh

I feel mostly the same, now, I've never played any forza other than forza motorsport 4 back in the day, and to be honest, I prefer the more arcade racing games, since when I can play is usually after getting home from work or on weekends when there's nothing to do, so I don't want to think too much, and arcade racing games allow me to do so. I loved the first The Crew, although it's handling and physics were bearable at best, although the story and all the races, challenges, etc were fairly entertaining. The Crew 2 was a step up in handling and physics, although still, they were just bearable, and the "Story", NPCs and progression system were utter dogshit, but it made up with the extensive car list, and, unpopular opinion here, the boats and planes were really enjoyable. Not to mention the exquisite job that Ivory Tower did with post launch content, being able to get about 90% of it if you played enough. Yes, there were microtransactions, but it didn't bother me at all. And for Motorfest, I got to play the closed beta, and it surprised me, a lot. Yes, the map is smaller, but I prefer quality over quantity, and Motorfest's map is top notch, ther are a few things wrong here and there, but nothing too alarming. And although it is small, it is quite a lot larger than FH5's map, FH5 is 100 KM square and TCM is about 300KM square, plus it's been hinted that the other islands may be accessible in the future. Also, the NPCs, although they have cheesy lines and all that, they also give you details about the cars you're driving, about hawaiian culture, about the story of a certain brand, etc. It was the first time in a long time that I didn't mute the dialogs, although I wish I could mute CARA, the "AI assistant" that we get as an interaction menu this time around. And most importantly of all, Toyota is back, that means we could potentially have Lexus too in the future, I just want my LF-A, pleas Ivory Tower/Ubisoft, just give me that.

BOTH my ears enjoyed this video, good job setting things right lol. i did actually download the closed beta and planned to check it out but i didnt get a chance to actually play it in the weekend, ill keep an eye out for another beta but it looks to be mostly more of the same which doesnt have me to excited.
