I’ve had this car for a month now and honestly love it. (17:40) But I didn’t even want a 3 series to begin with...

it's the design and got noting to do with affordability, sometime the decision is base on suitability to the individual, I cannot say a guy who drive a A class cannot afford to buy a C class or a guy who buy a C200 cannot afford to buy a C300. This BMW serial has 235i in overseas market so is it cheap ? does it scream cheap ? just because BMW bring this model in with 218i with a affordable price we call it cheap. So what do you call a customer who brought a X1 18 instead of 20 ? he can't afford ? Many car reviewer made this mistake when commenting on a entry level premium car. Many reviewer also like car with powerful engine, it's all about speed.

i was really hating the car when it came out last time, from the looks, the interior, to the engine. but yeah, as the car getting seen more and more on the road, look wise, its actually not that bad.... ..... .... sigh now i think the back of the car is much cooler than the a class sedan/ cla and the a3

It is more eye catchy than the A sedan or A3 ... But it is also rather ungainly from certain angles

as someone who works in a dealership, I see a lot of people prefering to own this over a 320i... I'd be interested to hear about why this segment gives us consistently unrefined ride and build quality hahaha. and yes, I feel a Mini not only looks more premium but rides better somehow.

Im late to the party but Im just going to say this la.....who would spend 80k more or 60k than a civic or cx5 to buy a 2 series, or wouldn't spend that additional 10k to get an Arteon. When I made this analysis, I just wondered why would ppl just want a car for the badge. Its 2021??

If it was priced at 150k, I wld get it. For d badge :p

In my opinion, overall Volkswagen have been producing great cars and after test driving the new Passat Elegance before the MCO I feel like it is so much more comfortable than this to be honest!

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want power, 330e definitely the much better option as it has 252 horsepower instead of the 138hp in this car. The 330e would also act much better as a family car since the space in the back is very spacious when compared to the 218i. However, keep in mind that the 330e is starting to age and is very common on the roads, the 218i is way much more of a headturner. The interior design of the 330e also looks very aged when compared to this car's. Moreover, it loses out on quite a lot of tech due to the generation gap. Then again, the 330e has the better interior quality (use of materials) despite its age. You also have to keep in mind that the 330e is a hybrid and can bring up costly problems in the long run if anything happens to the battery pack. Happy decision making, hope it helped :)
