I can’t speak for the dream line but my sf505xx has been amazing. I’m a fast swinger. 120-125 mph for a tournament driver club speed and even more for fun in a scramble etc. I’ve found it to be freaky when it comes to strike consistency. I have no business swinging a 50 gram shaft from previous attempts but somehow this one just works. I wouldn’t compare it to any long drive shafts I’ve tried either. I would never attempt to game a LD shaft on the course. However this thing produces enough consistency to allow me to be confident. I’ve driven* past the green on multiple holes at my home course that previously I’ve never been able to reach at all. A few coming close to 400 yards. On track man I’ve seen 370+ with 337 yards of carry on normal settings. The thing still surprises me every time.

I'm not a bomber like you but I'm in the low 100s. Picked up 4-5mph clubhead speed playing autoflex at 47" and strike consistency IMPROVED. Best golf purchase ever. *Caveat - people need to follow the instructions! If these guys just slammed them into stock heads, they're doing it wrong & could get way more out of it. I took out head weight to get to proper swing weight and lowered loft to get spin down. Picked up 15-20 yards.

Impressive stuff! Would it be possible to do a comparison between the new Autoflex vs BGT Brava?

Don't forget to play around with the swing weights. I believe autoflex recommends d1. Give it a shot, really dial it in

@@embersgolfalso drop loft down on the loft sleeve. It'll take spin down and get you even more ball speed. BOMBS

KHT is shaped molecules in an elastic resin. As Trevor said under full stretch the molecules lock. For them to lock optimally as mentioned by others Swing Weight needs to match the recommendations. i.e. C9, D0. look forward to you trying it later in your swing weight video, should bring the spin down if the shafts not overloaded and the head less deflected. For anyone looking at these, there was a gem here I'd never considered, if you're on the boarder, the lighter weight and more spring might take you into the next category up. Of course when you set the correct swing weight there might be less spring and the speed might go down but the dispersion might improve. So interested to see if the lower SW keeps the speed AND gives better dispersion. As a p.s. I love the fact you guys have all the best gear, Velocore, Miura etc. and the main brands. I'm in the UK (20 percent VAT plus about 7 percent import and a crappy exchange rate), but if I'm ever in the area or even in the right quarter of the Country I'll make the pilgrimage. (just looked it up, your only 4713.59 miles away!)

You can’t just put a Qi10 Max with a 28g back weight on the AF. It’ll make it uncontrollable around at least E1. You have to get it to D0 or even below. It’ll bring the spin way down. Been gaming the original for 2 years and love it, but you have to get the SW correct.

@@embersgolf appreciate the reply. That was less for you and more for viewers who think the shaft isn’t good. I hear that a lot and they don’t understand SW. I play my 505xx at C7. You should try it that low and see what happens.

I'm good w/my Ventus & I'm a handle puller but cool to look at. Quick question, is there any chance you're spinning it over 3k because of your mat arrangement? I swing in the mid 90s for driver and mid 80s in irons. Do they have shafts(AYO) for irons? If so, will y’all be testing those as well? Great stuff gentlemen!👊🏽

I am a retired senior and play a lot of golf now and have lost distance , but on a fixed income $900 IS WAY out of line for a few MPH in swing speed !!! It WOULD be interesting try one of these shafts just for shits and giggles to see how much I gain off a 94-98 mph swing speed though. I'll stick to what I have till this old farts ashes gets spread out over a golf course ....LOL

Was it an adjustment from a traditional graphite shaft? I am getting the SF405 and can't wait for it. Did you see some increase in distance? Looking for another 10-15 yards.

@davidgolf3245 very little timing needed for me, honestly. Got mine built to 46 with the Stealth plus head. Maybe a couple of rounds to get the feel...? Swing weight is D2 if I recall. Gained yards, consistency. Such a great for for me. Tried the Accra Fx 150..felt a bit more tip stable but not as long for me. Unless you've been fit for the 405 flex, be cautious as it's definitely a noodle shaft. Local fitter put a hybrid on that for me for fun and I had no clue where it was going. For reference, I'm a 105ish driver speed, 5 handicap.

@@dzaino1986 Appreciate the info. I used my buddies shaft but his was SF 505 and I thought that was a little stiff and he said get the 405, which I did. Hoping not to whippy, will know soon. Going to match with a Cobra head of some sort. Autoflex says match to like D2 weight. I do know a Titleist fitter so maybe he can get me dialed in as a favor. 7 handicap with about 88 mph swing speed, but always in play.
