I don't think it would get cancelled. I think their plan could be to withhold information on purpose and then drop the update with little to no warning.

I Agree about this i think if they canceled the summer update ERLC would be dead. especially since they are silencing content creators and the community for leaks which is nothing compared to hacking and is clearly a overreaction

I hope it doesn't get cancelled, I've waited a year and would just be a bummer if it did.

They most likely wouldn't BC the summer update is the biggest one of the year on ER:LC

Most likely it is not canceled, it could be a different date, there have been a lot of leaks, people have been banned about leaking, there has been summer updates since 2021, its a late message that it will be coming soon, or its a different date.

I think their gonna drop a trailer the day before and then update right after, as I feel like they wouldn’t post a teaser just to completely drop the update. Maybe they’ll try and surprise us? Or maybe it’s delayed and the leaks will come out over July/August

Delay and Cancel are two different things, I think you mean release date is cancelled, and it's being further delayed, they would not cancel weeks or even months of development

It probably will be on the 23rd because it might be big because they may add trains or a new FD Station a school they may change the name they may add the army or military scuba divers or they may add to the farmers job where you can pick strawberry’s or corn or have horses a beach maybe boats (the boats would probably be with a beach update) a new operation where the FD and police have to look for someone the police would look for them on land the FD would look in water and land maybe lifeguards it’s prob on the 23rd

I dont think it is cancelled. They might release less info because of all they people putting out info that they dont want released. Also they might just be hard at work making everything perfect.

Also ruffles of you look at the cooking pot it says ELS (Emegency Lighting System) on it and if you find the original picture ELS is not on the pot (saw this from a KZreadr a while back
