EV cars and trucks is going to fail car manufacturing in due time. Who realistically can afford them? And two, the current power grid hasn't been upgraded in decades. I wonder who's paying for all this "clean energy" alternatives? Your favorite politicians aren't going to pay for it, yet they so call vouch for bills in legislative bodies to be passed because of environmental concerns, hmm. Go figure...

Joe, as for the wheel choice, I do like the gun-metal gray as it is contrasted with the blue calipers. I can also see the idea of using a flat black as an alternative, but this one is my preference. As for collecting the tears of the other "muscle car" drivers, I wouldn't actually collect them. I'd use a loofa sponge to soak them up! I have to say that I truly admire your opportunities to drive some of these fabulous vehicles over the years from the Mopar family. I haven't driven a Challenger since 1970 when a Navy buddy of mine bought one. It had a Hurst 4-speed shifter with the venerable 440 Hemi. What a kick-butt car that was!

Hell yeah man, look how beautiful it is and the insane amount of power you get also.

Silver/grey with the blue combos are one of my favorites if not the favorite.

Hey Joe, great vid! I am, however, sticking with my 2018 , paid for, Challenger R/T Scatpack, it’s a bit slower in the qt mile, but still a hell of lotta fun to drive! If I do, someday, wanna go faster in the quarter mile I think I’m gonna go PLAID! 😎

Putting the light grey on the door panels to match the seat would have looked really good. More maintenance though.

This Challenger is my favorite Car! Great review Joe and great job Stephen with the camera!!!! To The Door Panels!!

Nice job..!! Back in December 1967 I factory ordered a 1968 Charger R/T. It had a 440/ 385 hp with Tourqueflite trans. So, I consider myself a charter member, of the Dodge muscle car era.... The great thing about this Jailbreak is, it definitely make me proud. However, it also makes me sad.. I guess, as the years are catching up to me, so is technology catching up to the internal combustion engine and all the fun we had in the 60s.. BTW.. That's me and my 68 Charger R/T. pictured..!

That car is perfect! The blue stripe on the granite gray is not a combination I would have thought to put together but it works well. Blue badging would have looked good, I agree. While I own a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, the Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody is what I truly want. Don’t get me wrong, I love my GS but it lacks that pure, beastly, muscle car presence. But these are first world problems and I won’t complain. Plus my wife prefers the GS to the Challenger. Enough said.

@@RaitisRides - the Best Buy is the minimally optioned RT in my opinion you get the cool look and plenty of V8 hemi sound and power for the street while having money left over for gas, wheels/tires!! I 😂😊

I had a 2018 Widebody Hellcat Manual Shift. These cars are ligit missles and can turn a corner way better than you think. You wouldn't think so until you actually experience it. Very well balanced and predictable handling. Remember, German Mercedes Autobahn underpinnings on these chassis.

I too had one as well and while we agree they are missiles, they are fat dogs in the corners. I traded mine in on a zl1 1LE that blows it away on the track, or anywhere that it’s not a straight line.

Thanks for explaining the difference between this Jailbreak Hellcat Red-eye Widebody and the Hellcat Red-eye Widebody and Hellcats. I'd certainly get the Hellcat Red-eye Jailbreak Widebody because you get to personalize it and even the Stripes, badges and interior panels to be colored in your choosing! That's phenomenal, thank you Dodge!! I love this body style, I don't care HOW long it's been out! The hardest thing would be picking the colors! There's so many and just one car, unless you're a millionaire and can get more than 1. In my opinion, the Sinnamon Stick(I know how to spell Cinnamon for you grammar police) looks fabulous, the Indigo Blue as well as the Flourescent Green which I wish was in a metallic instead of a solid, but they've got great choices that's the dilemma! Great info, enthusiasm and presentation of this awe inspiring muscle car!!

Car looks great; love the look, the history, etc; however, what good is it if you can’t get the car to hook up properly? Best looking muscle car. I just wished it was about 15% smaller, lighter, and wished it could handle better! It’s why I chose/bought a Camaro 1LE SS over the Challenger. I also owned a 2013 ZR1 Corvette with the supercharger, but really didn’t enjoy it b/c it was always a chore to hook up and control the car. Too much power/torque is useless without AWD. Went P-car 911 Turbo instead. Not looking back. Cheers/B

I've got a scat pack 6.4L with the Shaker hood, and it's pretty bad ass at 485hp, however it makes me want the HellCat!

I’m feeling the exterior also the interior they did a phenomenal job

I have a dream Challenger, but I want at least 8 of them in all different custom schemes I've created in Forza games. I feel I could have made a living selling customizing Challengers.I suggest to anyone looking to get into Challenger for cheap, get a manual 5.7 car and throw a blower on it later, you will not lack for fun at all. You can spend the money your saving customizing it's look

When I think of the DODGE CHALLENGER JAILBREAK, I think 🤔 of the other DODGE muscle car from DODGE, the DODGE CHARGER JAILBREAK when Joe Raiti was doing a DODGE CHARGER JAILBREAK at the Auto Show. What are the MPG and the MSRP? When you DR. the DODGE CHALLENGER JAILBREAK, can you be able to tow like a trailer behind it when you have it in DR (D) like on the shifter with the (P, R, N, D) while u are DRiving past the 🚦🚦?

Gonna be hard to pick one of these up in the next year I feel and if you do get one be prepared to pay big time. I remember when I bought my wide body Redeye in 2019 it was $83,000, now you can't even get one for that price. At my local dealership they have a 2021 Hellcat with 6K miles for 80K and it's not even a wide body or Redeye. 😳

Just to clarify…The Jailbreak Hellcat WB does 807 hp vs The Redeye Jailbreak Wb which does 807 too? So what’s the point of the Redeye?

So if I keep that yellow strip on for props. Dirt and dust can get underneath and cause damage? Crazy.

I jailbreaked my 2020 Redeye Hellcat Challenger b4 their was a jailbreak 💯There is no Redeye Hellcat Challenger in L.A., Orange, or San Diego County like mines💯 Interior, exterior, exhaust tips, graphics, all skar audio sound system, skar sub woofers,custom wrapped rims,,295 tires,n engine bay💯 from showroom floor 13miles start to 20k miles later , I neva regret it💯 Its alwayz joyful n different experience driving,,very very very special n unique vehicle to me🦾🔥🎯💯

Just the name alone is frigging so Awesome-Challenger Jailbreak HellCat!!

Uh Oh! It's another Challenger review. I bit on it like cheese on a mouse trap Joe! This Chally is looking like it stole the outfit of a 2009 GT500 and squeezed into it, being gray with the stripes. Looks nice! I'd have done the silver wheels with this though myself

How is this boat 100k and does it handle better then a GT premium performance?

Joe, I always watch your reviews and I appreciate your enthusiasm but we car people know that the more power they say means the more weight to push so it is a real 2 week feel before you realize you need to strip things down . In Jan. ‘21’ I bought a 20 Mustang gt pp2 6MT fully loaded with 1600 mi for 43k solid and I now only have 6635 mi on it and it KILLS those big body cars of ol’ but you’re right if you want a straight line car then “buy” a Mopar.. Go no farther than 25k before you’re asking for a 71 block with cams to rebuild and show what can be done with money in
