@@calvin4319 The grabber yellow looks great but it doesn't really show up properly on camera. In person it looks great, much better than the darker yellow used in previous years.

You have by far the best camera person on KZread...nice video, and Mustang...from a Corvette guy!

What people aren't doing, is researching it. I heard some twat on here saying "it's a GT with stickers on it" EXACTLY what a know it all, with ZERO substance, WOULD say. It's the most fleshed out, track ready platform Ford has released yet. I've had it on the track already, these big mouths yapping about Chevy this or Chrysler that, had better put up, or stfu. You may believe me when I say it's amazing off the showroom floor. You are spot on, E. Fortune.

Comprehensive, entertaining, and useful review as usual, Joe. I appreciate how you drive 'em like we wanna see; clearly, you're a 21st century hot rodder. Down here in Aus, we never got the Shelbys, but the Mach 1 sure fits the bill for we old-schoolers who grew up with naturally aspirated V8 manuals. Unfortunately, we don't get the Grabber Yellow, nor the handling pack option, but we get everything else in a Mach 1. Thanks again, mate; love your work!

Hi Joe, I ordered my 2021 Mach 1 Fighter Jet gray, ebony interior, Tremec 6 spd, back in jan/2021 it just came in and I pick it up yesterday 3/14/21 its awesome msrp $57,500. no discounts on Mach1. but after putting 25 miles on last night in my opinion it is worth the wait and price . And Joe your description and Lori's camera work you do a great job of explaining everything .THIS CAR IS AWSOME and brings me back when I bought my 1st brand new 1969 Mustang Mach 1 candy apple red 428 super cobra jet 4 spd.

Disappointed they got rid of Grabber lime, was one of my favorite mustang colors last year

It was my favorite color for the Mustang. Dodge also got rid of Sublime and Chevrolet got rid of the yellow they had on the Camaro and the Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat is gone as well.

@@kingofalljokers909 Firstly, notice that I edited my post to indicate that my Mustang was ordered for over $3700 below window sticker (instead of $3700 below invoice). That discount works out to $1100 under invoice . . . and was attainable through the Costco Auto Program.

Great review Joe. The smooth Florida roads may make it hard to tell, but how is the tramlining in the Mach 1? Back when I drove the GT350 (the 2016 model year) it would follow every rut in the road like crazy. It detracted from the driving experience quite a bit, unless the roads were very smooth. I'm wondering if the Ford engineers have improved things...

That iconic shaker hood is missing but the aftermarket will probably take care of it💪🏽

Beautiful & nice sounding Mach! Nice review! In 1974 I bought a 1970 Mustang GT, 351 Cleveland, with 90K miles for $600, it was beat up but as a 16 year old.... a lot of fun! In 1989 I bought a new Mustang GT, 225 hp as I recall... for $14,000. Now this is approaching $60K, how do most American's afford this? lol .... I must just be getting old, $60K can I buy so much more, like my nicely equipped F-150. Joe, again.... nice work on the review, it sure looked fun to drive!

Wow Joe Ford did indeed hit it with the colour tone on the "Grabber Yellow", not often done these days. The graphic package and the subtle trim colours, along with the wheels are also excellent, exceptional, and impressive, a very unified design. And yes Lori has an artist's touch with the Camera, the light setting she is using looks lovely.

Great review bro. I don't like the Grabber yellow or the standard rims at all. Love the front and rear design. Love the 10 speed automatic option which is why I would purchase the Mach 1 over the GT 350..

You definitely should make a few different Mach 1 videos as the new packages (specifically the appearance and handling packages) come out! They all look great. At first, I wasn't sold on the "parts bin wannabe Shelby", but it has sort of grown on me since last summer.

I know you love Mustangs like me, I just special ordered a fully loaded Mach 1, I should have it by July and I can’t wait!!!!! It’s a huge upgrade for me!

Man one thing I absolutely love is that Tremec 6 speed manual. You can’t beat those fast smooth shifts in a straight from the factory mustang.joe I agree the engine and the exhaust of a vehicle is much better then any music.

$58,000 for basically a Bullitt with a tremec. Add the handling package and you're gonna be around $62,000 and still not close to the GT350 in prestige. Sorry I'll keep my Shelby.

I’m a mustang fan and have owned a few in my lifetime. I will say this seems to be a slapped together package and where is that intake sucking air from? I didn’t see and air passages in the hood? Great review as always!

Ford will Sell you a Supercharger, Install it for you, and give you a Full Factory Warranty. Ford won't do that for the Voodoo.

If the wait hadn't been so long, I'd have one of these. As it is, I went with a 2020 Roush Stage 3. Definitely in another level, and I'm glad I chose it. The Mach 1 does look like a fun car, though!

Thanks Joe for the honest evaluation; I agree with your Zonks... The S650 is around the corner, so I think Ford made a good business decision. I'm gonna get one - same Grabber Yellow - for a daily driver and a little track time.

Ford does a great job on the exhaust sound. I wish the C8 had a bit more sound from the Z51 option . The mach 1 sounds better then the raspy GT350. The 2020 Shelby GT500 sounds the best of all current performance mustangs. But $80K + gets a bit pricey.
