I just bought mine monday and It's awesome! Instead of my wife and I having multiple cars living in Florida we have a truck that can pull our 4600lb travel trailer, a convertible and a 4wd beach runner. Best automotive decision ever! People bitch about the price but try to find all of the things this truck can be in as many vehicles as it takes and see what is spent. We love putting the top down and just drive around looking for interesting roads and trails.

These are leasing for under $400, in the $350-380 range. That’s about the only affordable way to get a Wrangler/Gladiator. Despite the absurd MSRP they at least retain their value so can you save a ton on your payments by just leasing

If only FCA would drop a 5.7L Hemi in it, watch sales skyrocket. For those willing to wait, give it a year and you'll have a diesel option and probably see a $8-$10K discount from MSRP.

I would like to see a detuned version of the 2.9 V6 turbo from Alfa dropped in it. FCA need a smaller powerful turbo engine to compete with Ford. 330 HP and 330 lb/ft at low Rpm would do it

its all in the options. Like many other vehicle the base price is reasonable for what it is.. but then you deck it out and the pricing gets up there quick. At least its not like the colorado or "mid size" trucks that start high then get insane with just one or two option upgrades.

I bought a 2020 Toyota Tacoma Trd for $45000 and a nobo 168 camper same week. The Toyota sucked. Could handle the towing and was 4x2. I now drive the Gladiator 2020 overland with 8 speed ZF automatic. It’s 10 times the rig the Toyota was. 48,000$ used with 30,000 miles. Dana 44 difs 3” lift with 35’s. Worth every penny. I want to love Jeep. I really do. I've owned two of them, the classic Cherokee with the straight six engine. I just can't get behind the new versions. The Gladiator is not pleasing on the eyes. The front looks fine. The back looks gimmicky, especially the taillights. The price for all Jeeps are beyond overpriced. Way, way out of control. This vehicle isn't worth $35k, much less $50k. Then you have to figure in FCA quality. I have three friends with newish Wranglers. All of them have had issues. From engine issues to windows that stopped working to wipers that won't shut off, even with the ignition off. The ONLY way I ever get another Jeep is if they become their own brand and away from FCA. Bottom line.

wranglers are incredibly capable little machines, especially the 2 door rubicon, but I believe the gladiator was a huge design flop on jeeps part. FCA should have kept the pickups in the RAM brand and just made a new dakota or a RAM 1000. This truck is too offroady and loses too much practicality doing so. In the quest for making a more compact, city and global ready pickup truck they could of made the ram 1000 with a reg/double cab, a 6.5 bed and some ram boxes to make it viable as a city vehicle, or a reg cab 8' bed as a work truck, and scale it all the way up to a limited trim just like the 1500 with a crew cab, a 5.5 bed and to have the luxury brand level interior. Just a huge mistake on FCA's part, making it a wrangler based truck limited it too much with too high of a price floor.
