I'll be honest, I love technology - it's like magic in real life. But, I do think that the more advanced our world gets, the more complicated everything is, and our brains get overloaded. I really think this is the reason we have such a large increase in mental health issues over the past few decades.

I agree 100% my grandmother is from Colombia specifically from the country side. She tells me about the life she lived and how she sees that here in the US the people get so easily depressed and how life is always so fast paced. So I think that it does help and it’s cool but it is definitely taking a toll on us

We are attracted towards technology because of excitement and not because of love. Excitement can keep you busy with something for a long period of time but it cannot give you inner peace. Nothing in this world should be given preference over inner peace and love.

Born in 86, grew up in the 90s where we really grew up with the best of both worlds:technology and real socializing. Experiencing both fully, it would be hard to give up cell phones and internet, but I’d choose a world with out phones and internet.

Honestly as much as i love using my phone because it has everything i could ever dream of which is the dream for lazy people like me, it did mess up my health, i sleep very late and wake up late and i use my phone all day and if i read the charts my longest hour is 19 hours its concerning because all i did in one whole day is lay down and play my phone. In terms of communication i love technology, it gives me more time to think about the words im trying to say and such, but it also took away the thing that makes life funny, some simple misunderstandings, i like observing people by their words and if they stumble a lot and stuff, and i think just messaging takes away how people view your personality, i might be wrong since im writing this while im sleepy but yeah...

Don't get me wrong I love technology! However, like the title of Cardi B album "It's an Invasion of Privacy". It's honestly scary to know that there's someone who's out there tracking your every movement... I'm not only talking about the government. I'm speaking about CEO, or the people in the background of these companies like Instagram. Who can see your every move or location even when you select not to share it with the public. It's bad enough you have to worry about crazy people, but just imagine a crazy ex or ex associate. However, sometimes it works in our safety, but it's honestly crazy. I think technology is good, we need it. If there was any other life form on and came to Earth and chose violence we would have nothing to defend against if they have technology and we don't. Technology helps us study life on Earth, it helps us discover new things, look at humanity's greatest inventions that will help mankind achieving great things to make humanity stronger we have stuff like planes, cars, guns/weapons to protect us. I'm not saying technology is the best thing ever but I'm just saying that life would be less relaxing without it.

I think technology has made our lives better. However, I am sometimes scared of accidents caused by technological advances. I personally feel that sitting down is bad for the body, such as muscles, but I think it's better than the time and stamina I waste while walking around, not dealing with it with technology.

We're going online for comfort ruling over everyone's life we don't know about tragedies and celebrations without it we know what's hot what's in what's acceptable what's popular what to do next based on celebrities or just public figures. We're suppose to go with trending movements if we want to be accepted if we question it we're attacked by online or in person because everyone is in a zombie state easily manipulated because of the chemical response we create while being active online the dopamine and a fulfilling feeling of doing something without getting up. To go to a beautiful scenery to later upload the photo and have obsessive thoughts about what will look or sound good. Whether people want to admit it or not the 2000 + gen and 2010+ gen is so into technology that's what they've been born into if you live in the city. Why go out and play or farm if there's an app for it? Etc you catch my drift

We would be outdoors more, in sports more, swimming, riding horses, walking in nature, getting together with friends, communicating face to face, not sitting still, staring at a glare screen. The phone would always work. This is the first time we've ever had to buy a new phone every 2.5 years. It is documented, you have to buy a new phone every 2.5 years because it stops working after 2.5 years. Then you have to go get it set up somewhere. Then in 2.5 years it will fail and you have to do it all over again. And you have to get protection on your computer so nobody can scam you, but still big companies are scammed by the thousands or millions of customers, you need to put malware protection on your computer. But even your protection is difficult to get set up, 15 steps to do it. I didn't marry a technician, and I'm not a technician. Frankly I would go back to the days before technology in a minute if I had the choice. I do try to cut down on it, but we have been stuck with it to accomplish certain tasks. The old saying "I can't get there from here" applies to technology. And as soon as you've caught on how to use some feature, the company or app changes it. In general I find technology a complete waste of time and money. I like it for keeping up with the news, watching videos and listening to music. The most important part of tech to me is word processing so you don't have to type something over again. But I'd go back to white out and the copier in a minute because you could actually get something in the mail the same day you typed it, instead of saying "What's wrong with my computer now? Why won't the PDF work today? Why is it printing so tiny even though I have adjusted the font?" etc etc.

Technology is evil and has done way more harm than good. We no longer rely on each other and we are not using our brains liked we used to. Technology is a dangerous addiction just like drugs or alcohol in my opinion.

To be honest we still dont know what info is true or false.When buying online we cant see the quality of goods until we've paid for them, it used to be the other way around. Used to be able to go to a shop ,pay and brings goods home, now you have to wait days for a delivery. Because they charge for every app,It can literally cost you more to simply sign and return a form thats emailed to you.Your personal info is more at risk and you are held accountable if its stolen.( not the providers) no matter how much computers are programmed they will never understand the life of a human and all its complexities. They are dividing us and causing us more stress just like the industrial revloution did. Computers have sped up production and medical care, but on the whole they arent good for us.

Lets say for argument sake that thanks to Technology people are more divided, more angry with the world, depressed, suicidal, closed off from living in the real world. We acknowledge these are negative effects of technology. Knowing this, why do I still say technology makes life better? Simply put, a person can always find ways to be less divided, less angry, less depressed & find a reason to continue on in Life. These are fixable. However, technology in the use of medical science is very valuable. People always had the issues of suicide, depression, anger & politics. They can fix. However these people hundred(s) of years ago had no access to the kinds of medical technology we got. Human life expectancy was very low. Knowledge of Technology is invaluable in saving lives and or extending human life. You can always change your mood but unfortunately you can't change technology in the era/times you were born in
